  1. This version of Bautista isn't awesome. Hitters can sit on 100 and do damage.
  2. Bautista has been getting barreled like crazy since the splitter disappeared from his arsenal.
  3. Bautista hasn't looked in 3 appearances. He's no slam dunk to get out of this.
  4. It's hard not to when everything (including balls) are called strikes.
  5. Feels like it, doesn't it? Baumann had such an easy inning, I still don't get why he didn't let him go 2. If the strategy is to keep the score 0-0 by the time Rodriguez leaves the game, you're going to need to have someone in the bullpen for extra innings.
  6. I don't understand pulling Baumann after 11 pitches..
  7. I couldn't care less how many hits we get against Rodriguez as long as we keep putting up zeros on our end. Eventually, he'll be gone.
  8. If your words had the power to change that, you'd have won the lottery a dozen times over already.
  9. 2 balls called strikes one strike called a ball. Trash.
  10. If the O's were up 8-0 nobody would have a problem with the kid's segment. It's born out of frustration, I get it, but that's what it is.
  11. Possibly because hitters are slugging nearly .500 off of it. I'd be scared too.
  12. They will keep the name, it was already announced. They are a charter member of the league, they are not changing the name.
  13. If by some you mean Rodriguez, I agree. If you think Gibson gets first-inning jitters, I don't know what to tell you.
  14. I've never worked at a Carnival, but I'm fairly confident that man isn't 310.
  15. They must be trying tons of options, other than Diekman or however it's spelled, it seemed like every reliever they brought in in this series had a really low ERA until they exited the inning.
  16. Going by the last 3 innings for each, I'd stick with Voth to start lol.
  17. If Mateo really is this hitter, I shudder to think of the money he'd be worth.
  18. Rodriguez had a FIP of 2.62 through his first two starts.
  19. I think we all hoped that he'd come in and be an Ace, but like everything, there are adjustments he's going to have to make and I'm glad they are letting him make them against ML pitching. He's going to be everything we hoped he'll be.
  20. Everyone ooh'ing and aah'ing over Cease, don't forget that at 23 he had a 5.79 ERA with a 5.19 FIP and at 24 he had a 4.01 ERA with a 6.36 FIP. Let's not freak out about Grayson...yet.
