Bobmc, I have never met you, but I am a fellow Floridian - Melbourne Beach.  I just wanted to let you know how wonderful it was of you and your wife to make the trip to see Weams.  Michael meant a lot to my family, but I can't imagine what it meant to Michael to see you.  You done good.  

I just want to let you know how much the love you extended to Weams and D. means, as an example for all of us.  It was so good of you to make the trip to visit them.  That's special, special friendship, and I am sure that he will never, ever, forget that visit.  Just want to say I admire what you have done.  As Weams and D have made our world better, through your kindness, you so much made their world better.  Kudos, and thank you.  I am sorry if this message is disjointed, but today was tough.  

Knew I could count on Mr. Weams!  Also a very good man.

Hi, Roy.  I placed an opening bid on a Ripken bat - it may have been the gold one.  At age 57, with 5-rear-old triplets, my short term memory lasts about as long as some of our recent Orioles starters' efforts.     

Hi, Roy.  Great items, as always, great cause, as always. I'll open the bidding on the Palmer jersey, for reasons you will understand.

What are you looking for, in terms of the final two items (especially the Palmer jersey, in light of the autism)? (assuming you are still offering)..

In terms of favorite Orioles, I became a fan in 1966, so from that era (through the early 1970s), I liked Andy Etchebarren, Merv Rettenmund, Mark Belanger, Paul Blair and Curt Motten. From the late 1970s -1980s I liked Mike Devereaux, Todd Cruz (don't ask my why), John Lowenstein, Doug DeCinces (again, beacause no one else did) and Rich Dauer.</p></p></p>

<p><p><p>Current Oriole favorites are those who get excoriated on the message boards, so I like David Lough and Ubaldo (because no one else does; he's handled a tough year with class). Also am a big fan of Caleb.</p></p></p>
