I am also a member of a tennis forum, whereby a thread like this will be put in the “ruins” section.
I suppose I reached legendary status for making this thread, For good or bad.
You play I assume? I was almost a 4.0 club player back in the day. Almost…
And thanks for starting this…..well what is this exactly? But thanks!

I dont know what your talking about........this post you refer to is just a rumor.
You’re probably sick of even being reminded about it, but it was one of the most funniest things I’ve ever read. And Weams (who would PM with anyone) and I would PM each other about that thread when it was bumped. He loved it too.
Man this thread has been a walk down memory lane.
I’ve been here so long I’ve met quite a few posters in person. Always good people.

Last few days have not been the best for an O’s fan, but at least the highlight of our season isn’t Cesar Valdez anymore! But he’s back! Amazing really.

Didnt the Orioles bring up some guy in 2021 who was a career minor leaguer who was a knuckleballer. Brought him up for one game. He got shelled and send down right after the game.
But he also is forever a Major Leaguer.
I think you mean Mickey Jannis? 33 years old for his debut, 3.1 innings is all he got.

Gunnar is out because of a hand injury? Missed that. I thought it was because he bats left handed.

Pat Valaika got a job:

Semantics I suppose "What would have constituted the biggest potential collision differential in O's history?"
Wee Willie Keeler and Sydney Ponson?

The point is pulling any two players, any era
I totally forgot to consider someone like Boog Powell and Mark Belanger. Or Aparicio
I thought the rules clearly stated they must have played together.

Fine.
Don Buford and Boog Powell.
Better…

As far as your weird mishmash of a small Oriole running into a larger one and the ensuing collision, I'm going with Al Bumbry and Boog Powell.
Too easy.

What would have constituted the biggest potential collision differential in O's history? Sam Horn and Jeff Fiorentino? Chris Davis and Joey Rickard?
Alan Wiggans and Jim Traber

Mullins looked a little annoyed with Stowers for getting so close to him on that play. Wonder if the chemistry out there has anything to do with Stowers lack of playing time
Mullins has an irritated face at the best of times.
Stowers didn’t listen immediately but at least he did veer out of the way.

Nice pick by Mateo.
Looked like it was a feel pick. Didn’t even look completely down. Gonna need the defense now for sure.

Gibson will be on regular rest tomorrow
Didn’t do the days between math too well apparently.

Wells up in the pen.
So wait he was supposed to pitch tomorrow. So Gibson takes his spot? Grayson gets called up?

I'm not watching, how bad does the Bradish injury look? And what happened?
Shot to his leg. 104 EV. One warm up pitch and he jumped when landing on his plant leg.

Hopefully just a bone bruise but this sucks!

Franco going to Japan (how times have changed since he was an Oriole!):

He would play hurt.
Immediately made me think of Scott Sterling:
Almost could see Odor take a ball off the face and show up at second looking like Scott. Veteranosity!

Not sure if this source is a source, but would maybe make sense. Crossing my fingers.

Great to see you back Roy!!! I had a patient take a picture of my Orioles wall at work this week. People are proud to be Orioles fans again, even in Phillies country. Most of the autographed pictures were from your collection from the auctions for your charities. Still haven’t framed and hung up the jerseys yet.
As excited I am about Mateo, I am just floored how a no-name throw away pitchers on the staff are doing so well. Gives me a lot of hope about when above average or “elite” talent is brung up or signed. Looking forward to the next 5 years.
@csgordos good to see you back too! I may have to come get some PT to see all the pictures!
As for Mateo, he is a blast to watch. So glad we have him and he is having such a productive year especially with the offensive uptick recently!

I think we should all feel thankful that we have Toronto so much this late in the season. As Kevin Brown just put it we have Ryan Mountcastle, “The Destroyer of Canadian worlds”!
