Seems like a classic mismatch, a former Cy Young winner vs. Spenser Watkins. However, the callup of Adley has made me happy regardless. Next year we can focus on getting a decent 2B/SS or 3B. Just getting one of those positions filled would mean that Henderson could come up next year and we would be in a much better place as far as the lineup goes. Then we sign one decent SP and by mid year or so we would have G-Rod, Means, Zimmerman, FA, and possibly DL Hall. That's a team that would be exciting to watch. I know it's probably the newness of it all, but I'm super optimistic. At this point if you have a really fun team to watch next year, and a marked improvement from this year that's all you can ask for at this point in the rebuild. Good times ahead fellas!

I guess Chirinos rubbed off on him already. Bad at bat, but there will be many more for Adley.

Man, Bradish started so good too.

I like having young pitchers with the stuff to be successful. Bradish is one of those guys, and it's great to see. He has the upside to very good in my opinion. Seeing guys who have no real hope of being successful starters (Watkins for example) was difficult to deal with. I'm OK with a guy like Bradish getting a lot of starts and I can deal with the bumps in the road.

Kind of kicking myself for not buying tickets but I'm so excited anyway!

Man, how many times have we had runners on third and no outs and not scored this year? It's been at least three that I can think of. That's so maddening!

Akin may have found his niche as a valuable part of the bullpen. He looks so much more confident this year, I'm happy to see the improvement. Zimmerman also looks great so far. We really do have some bright spots this year.

Greinke is a sure fire Hall of Fame guy to me, so I think he knows how to pitch and get out of trouble, but we have some real liabilities in the lineup. It's really frustrating that we don't have anyone better to get these AB's.

Greinke hasn't been sharp at all but we only have one run which sucks. Let's hope Odor comes up big.

You know, if someone told me there were based loaded and one out and we only gave up one run I'd be OK with it. I guess I just hate to see all the walks, eight of them before the game has ended is awful.

Let's alienate the former face of the franchise through good times and bad. The guy played for us for 10 years and had multiple deserving all-star appearances. Was a pillar in the community, loved playing here, and we treat him like this? Unbelievable.
