Maybe, but we would be selling really low based on his current ERA. His peripherals look great though. His injuries might scare teams off too. I wouldn't expect a top 5 prospect from a farm system, and if we aren't getting that I'd sooner keep him. He is the closest thing to a potential ace that that we have.

There's not a single player on the roster that will garner a good prospect. We are overachieving by a ton right now, and it's been a good ride. However, other than some minor trades I wouldn't expect much.

He compares well in a lot of ways to guys that are absolute locks for the Hall like Verlander, Kershaw and Scherzer. Look at his FIP, WHIP. and K/9. The only thing that's hurt him is his health. I can only imagine having pitchers like that on our team.

I still think Strasburg has an outside shot of making the Hall of Fame. He has had a really good career, it's just been his health.

Nothing I hate more than walks. If Taylor gets the hit then so be it. That was a close one though, lol.

At some point you figure Hays will straighten it out. He has at bats like this, and the results will come eventually. I don't think he is as good as his stat line last year, but he isn't a sub .200 hitter.

I don't think any of us should be too hung up about wins and losses this year, so it's good to see guys like Scott, Alberto, and Sisco having some success. Between Scott, Castro, and Givens we at least have some upside in the bullpen. Hopefully Hays will start hitting consistently, and I'd like to think we see Mountcastle this year. It's an interesting time to be a fan of the team, even though we aren't good.

Santander isn't good defensively, and he doesn't get on base. We honestly only have a few guys that would crack MLB rosters on an average team. Alberto, Means, Cobb if he is healthy, maybe Givens/Castro, and Iglesias. Nunez is a DH on a bad team. Ruiz is a lottery ticket, and Hays has potential at least. Can't think of much more. We don't have any legit candidates for an All-Star selection other than maybe Alberto if he continues his tear. I just hate losing games like this.

Yeah, our whole outfield is atrocious. At least I have some lingering hope for Hays.

Sounds like that's a play that Hays should have made. For all the talk of him being a good defensive guy, I just don't see it. Doesn't have a good arm and his range isn't great either.
