I like him! Even after he regresses, he's still an above average hitter I think. Not a good defender so he's basically a 2nd division starter, but he's still a Major Leaguer that we got for nothing.

Rutschman is a Top 25 prospect in baseball right now, who just happens to not be a professional yet. I'd be very disappointed if they don't take him.

Wilkerson looked alright in centerfield tonight. Nothing particularly difficult but he was moving well from what I could see. Is it just me or are the Orioles having more communication problems in the outfield than other teams? Hess is not a major league quality starter. He's like Tyler Wilson, Jason Berken, Steve Johnson, etc. I would be okay with him as the 7th or 8th starter on the team if wins and losses mattered.

I'm tired of guys who can hit monster bombs but strike out a lot, don't get on base, are slow as molasses, and can't field. Having one or two on the team is okay. The Orioles have 6 in the starting lineup (Trumbo, Davis, Valencia, Nunez, Jones, and Mancini). You can't win like that. Nunez isn't good enough, and I don't believe in his potential. His ceiling is Wilson Betemit: a decent hitter who will kill a team with his glove.

If you aren't a ML caliber pitcher, Lew Ford will let you know. He's demolished AAA and ST pitching since he joined the Orioles. He's a fine backup for a bit of hitting against LHPs plus some value added on defense and speed.
