  1. Is this last anyone has heard? It's been a week, shouldn't we know if there's been a setback or if there's a timeline to get him into game action?
  2. Is completely expected, because it's the title of the thread?
  3. Just like it would have been foolish to overreact to sweeping Boston to go 3-0 last year, it would be equally foolish to overreact to one series this year. Mountcastle is seeing the ball well. Santander is seeing the ball well. Mancini, Mullins and Hays got on base a couple of times each today. Urias and Mateo look like they can contribute. Catcher and Odor/Gutierrez are empty holes in the lineup and that situation will hopefully resolve itself sooner rather than later.
  4. They just took the lead in Chicago. Maybe Hader has to pitch a couple of innings and he's unavailable tomorrow.
  5. We reached the knitting discussion phase of this blowout.
  6. We've reached the knitting discussion phase of this blowout.
  7. Can we at least get a garbage time HR or something. Would be nice to have just a little momentum for tomorrow.
  8. Remember when the Orioles decided not to move Fry at the deadline?
  9. I'll take one run in eleven innings from the bullpen.
  10. This will be a fun streak to watch: this will (probably) be the third straight game where the opponent scores as many runs in one inning as the Orioles do in the game. How long will that continue?
  11. LOL, Toronto has hit 17 home runs in 19 innings.
  12. What exactly is happening with Rutschman? It was four weeks ago that he was shut down, and Elias was characteristically vague in the interview on Friday. Is he working out? Is he taking BP? Can he pick up a baseball?
  13. Just missed that. Jeez, this series has been torture.
  14. Maybe the Rays are just that good. We'll see what the O's do against a Brewers team that is getting steamrolled this weekend.
  15. Odor is atrocious. No way Jahmai Jones could be worse.
  16. Ramon did not see a single strike in that AB. Five straight balls he took and got rung on 2-2. Awful.
  17. Not to make excuses for this offense, but they really haven't gotten any breaks.
  18. I think he was. Kevin Brown mentioned the Orioles' video people not seeing evidence but the camera just showed Hyde staring silently ahead so who knows if he was even thinking about it.
  19. Another bad result when the hitter had two strikes.
