  1. I can't speak intelligently on the animosity in the clubhouse, I wasn't in there but could it be a reason things went south in the 2nd half and the teams demeanor and energy wasn't the same as we saw? Maybe?
  2. Just his overall energy or demeanor? He wasn't the same guy in the 2nd half that we watched his first 2 years?
  3. Isn't it strange that the two best pitchers on the orioles staff both preferred to pitch McCann rather than Adley. I think there is more to this. I think it created some animosity within the club house......
  4. Agreed, but I was in the camp of I think a change would be best at this point. Hyde has been here for 6 years. You can't get rid of most of the players but you can get rid of the manager. I feel this team got too complacent too comfortable. Success almost came to easily for them. They lost that hunger that eye of the tiger. Just look at the Royals and better yet the Tigers. Totally different vibe then Baltimore. I feel Buck would get more out of this team and have a higher degree of accountability for the players than Hyde at this point. Just my opinion. I would also be very happy with Mark DeRosa as well.
  5. 2014 team had no Machado, Weiters and Davis. I like Buck always have. I think he is exactly what this team needs to be honest. Or Mark DeRosa,,,,
  6. The ball Mullins hit. Was the wind blowing in yesterday because I thought it was gone off the bat?
  7. I believe his hand is bothering him. He's hurt. He's out of shape. I thought that a few times this year. The GF can be a distraction at times. It isn't as crazy as you think. I believe Adley will bounce back next year.
  8. You just don't know what you are going to get with Bautista when he is back? Is it pre-injury Bautisa who knows? TJ is tricky look at Means he never really fully recovered and he had to go under the knife again? I hope he is good to go but people need to manage their expectations...
  9. True! I still don't get the price for Soto for the simple fact that Philly was trying to get rid of him. Johnson was the player they got back for Trey they knew he needed TJ this was his first full year back.
  10. I agree Roy although, I have always been partial to Mel Proctor and John Lowenstein back in the early 90's. Lowenstein said some wild stuff....
  11. The beer is piss warm.. If and when they make a change, I'd like to see DeRosa as the skipper.
  12. Hasn't been the same since that foul ball off the hand in July.......Now the back issue.
  13. The back issues are a problem and no doubt have contributed to his slump. Adley was hitting .310 beginning of July. Between the back issue that has flared up and him taking a foul ball off the hand during that time it has been a spiral for him.
  14. Also, hasn't been the same since he took that foul ball off his thumb/finger beginning of July....
  15. At the beginning of the year, If you would have told me Urias would have 5 less homers then Mountcastle on Aug. 20th I would have been shocked.
