  2. It wouldn't make any sense not to offer slot. We can't do anything with it, what's the worst case scenario v the best case. Teams don't fail to sign guys in the top 10 rounds, but the O's are making a habit of it. Draft a 5,000 player and maybe we have enough for Jones?

  5. Power, speed, arms and depth. They're loaded with youth and getting rid of their awful contracts, that's trouble. They're setting up for the 2018 FA class and may be a playoff team without adding anything. Hopefully they unload for Cole, I'm not worried about facing him, we need them lose their patience and make some deals for 2017. ?

  10. My 2nd favorite draft pick, love the movement he gets on his fb, love the breaking stuff, I think he's going to be the surprise of the draft for us. Nice start, thanks for getting a thread going, I didn't realize he had pitched for us yet. He's a big boy, it wouldn't be surprising if some professional instruction could get him a few more mph on his fb, but the movement is what makes him intriguing.

  14. Even the HS draft pick that we drafted, and is having success, does none of the things we drafted him for. The fb isn't 99, the cutter isn't anything special, but he has a unique feel for what he wants to do. Bundy, Hall, Harvey, Gaus are some gifted arms. Health and sorting out Gausman I ?. Legitimate baseball guys were speculating Gausman was a cy young candidate heading into the year. ?
