  1. It's early 2024. Velos will jump as the season progresses. It hasn't happened yet this season, unknown to me as a prospect.
  2. The point wasn't to diminish Kremer, or to question his velo or anyone elses. There are a lot of SP's all across MLB that don't hold their velocity, regardless if they can hit 97 or top out at 93. The elite hold it, majority don't.
  3. Kremer was 93 in the 1st against the Angels. He was 91 in the 6th. Irvin's velo drops as well as dang near every other SP, minus the elite, up in pitch count. Today was Povich's lowest FB velo average for the 2024 season though.
  4. 6 of the 11 were against Yuli Gurriel, not your typical "AAA hitter". Keep that small fact out though. Without your stuff, it's a non-issue. 4 2/3 innings, 3 hits (all singles in the 2nd; exit velos of 84.6, 106.3, 72.8), 1 run, 1 walk, 7 strikeouts. On a day without stuff. Ya, I'm quite positive all involved will take that - except the Billy Beane crew of the world wide web.
  5. You, of all people asking someone else about their mental state is pure comedy.
  6. And the gift continues.
  7. You're the gift that keeps on giving. That's what it looked like to me as well. Good observation. 25 total foul balls against, 11 with 2 strikes. That's quite a bit in 4.2 innings.
  8. Jacksonville play by play guy just called out Heston in the 6th. Double off the wall against McDermott and Heston pulled up like it was a homer or foul. It was a legit double as I didn't think he could've caught it but just pulling up like he did isn't a good look. He had a wanky throw earlier in the game that allowed a run. Mayo dropped a routine pop fly in the 6th with 2 outs and Jacksonville takes advantage by scoring 3 unearned.
  9. It happened again tonight in LF, pulled up on a ball that was catchable. It happens way too often.
  10. Anyone have access to the ABS results from tonight's game? It seems like there was a total of 10 or 11 challenges between the two teams with 6 or 7 of them overturned. Jen Pawol was really bad tonight. Angel Hernandez bad, no joke.
  11. They adjusted the schedule this week, he was set to throw Saturday in Jacksonville. It has since moved back to Friday with the Suarez call up. Skipping Thursday doesn't make sense as the road swing ends Wednesday. Angles on the road with short rest or A's at home with an extra day. Makes more sense for the home debut but very doubtful either happens as it stands now.
  12. As shared in the other thread, it's Suarez.
  13. Heston & Cade recognized for their strong weeks at Charlotte winning player & pitcher of the week, respectfully. Sorry, I don't know how to imbed properly. https://www.instagram.com/p/C5glE9tLCcA/?utm_source=ig_web_copy_link&igsh=MzRlODBiNWFlZA==
  14. This. Is. Awesome. Internet Billy Beane so fits you. Good night, sweet prince.
  15. I already have. I wasn't lauding him. I added context to his really good outing, it's this simple. Click here for assistance. You bypass 4 days rest in April, first front/back starts of a series of the season and where he was at a certain point in the game. Late in the outing. I acknowledge 55% won't cut it. 60% will though, throwing Tuesday/Sunday, IN APRIL. There isn't a AAA pitching coach, minor league pitching director & MLB pitching coach that wouldn't take those results in week one. You're really struggling with the basics.
  16. Internet Billy Beane, you're so wrong it's beyond the point of pathetic. Povich is proving you wrong. Several times. As for the rest of your drivel, the meltdown is beautiful. You don't know squat, that's for certain with every reply. Holt & Ramsey > internet Billy Beane.
  17. I don't have many posts, feel free to look them up. It's not difficult. I'm an objective cheerleader for all former Nebraska players. You'll see if discussion happens with Braxton Bragg.
  18. Have I stated he's pitched poorly? Yes, multiple times. Have I stated he struggled most of 2023 in back-to-back outings? Yes, multiple times. That's objective.
  19. Right. On. Cue. It didn't take you long. April 13 is your next opportunity.
  20. I've stated when he's done poor. I've also stated when he hasn't. And I've also added a deeper look. None of which you have interest in so look in the mirror next time, Billy. He had a poor history. It all began once he came to the Orioles Org, starting with Bowie in 2023). (I'm not the only one who's stated it, emmett has as well, see earlier in the thread). Never before. His last several starts, dating back to 2023, have been broken down & you refuse to look at it. I'm not bright? Too funny. Again, context matters. Google it to help understand what it actually means. Then, ask around to see if it matters. Managers don't submit reports from their staff after every game because it doesn't matter. It does. A lot. I couldn't care less if you did. And take your own advice once in awhile.
  21. 60% on 4 days rest, in April, is acceptable. They matter no more than context. Your microscope needs a lid. Next opportunity for you is in 6 days.
  22. 60% will more than work on 4 days rest in April, which is where he was prior to the last 4 hitters. Context matters. Consecutive outings; a great one and a really good one. Some will have to wait till April 13.
