I think KB is terrific overall, noting someone with a quirky approach and sense of humor by definition is going to draw detractors. Such things are always open to personal taste. But few do a big moment better than Kevin. I agree that the fluff can go on too long sometimes, and he needs to realize that a Miller diabetes tale is best told at a different time. But man if you listen to most other teams’ announcers, so so many are absolutely unlistenable. I don’t see any future Millers or Thompson’s waiting their turn, just enjoy who we’ve got right now

Palmer seemed a little loose, like he was tempted to say something he shouldn’t, but instead opted for irreverence (his comment on Giancarlo Stanton, for example) Geoff is listenable as a PBP, but clearly KB is the best. For color, Ben is great, Olson and Roberts are decent, Brach has some promise but needs more experience, and Devereaux just isn’t a natural talker like Brach seems to be, which I think will be hard for him to overcome and succeed Clearly, combo of KB and Ben are #1, so of course I assume MASN will minimize that going forward, just because

KB is light years ahead of anyone else the Os presently use. I enjoy him even a little more than Thorne, noting Gary had more rapport with Palmer (though Brown does very well with Ben) Miller and Thompson were all-timers, not really fair to compare KB to either of them I enjoy KB’s quirky humor which, I think, gives him greater appeal to young persons —a demographic pretty important to the future of MLB. JA might want to think on that awhile
