Ramirez is a mop up guy who wont even be on the playoff roster.
How about Fairbanks?

Well I think Tampa is going to win the East now. It doesn't matter bc they just pitch better than we do and we can't score a run off their pen. A. Single. Run.
We scored off of them yesterday.

He shouldn’t even be on the roster for him to use.
He’s been fine with the O’s - he just got left in way too long.

My son has been to over 10 games with me and the O's are undefeated, it's nuts.
I was undefeated in around 8-9 lifetime games before Thursday night.

My son and I were at the games on Thursday and Friday. We may have to promise never to go to a game again.

I’ve seen this movie before.

Tampa leaves Baltimore up two games and sweeps us. We will then have to listen to all the media talk about what an amazing team Tampa is. How the division goes through Tampa. How Baltimore has no pitching. Blah blah blah.
We get a wild card and get swept out of the playoffs. Watch.
Our pitching has not been the problem.

I would be very curious to see our chase rate, whiff rate, pitches per AB, and BA with RISP this week compared to the rest of the season.
-
This team has completely lost its offensive identity.

I'm baffled by a lot of your posts. Flaherty has been very good tonight. Did you expect any of our starters to throw a shutout in this series? If so, whom? The problem is the O's are being no-hit but keep on being baffled by Flaherty.
Yeah, our pitching has not been the problem this week. The offense is putting WAY too much pressure on them to be perfect.

Nothing but pop outs and strikeouts the last 3 games.
Someone must have told them Adam Jones was going to be here tomorrow.

This team is just not hitting...and a ton off swing and miss tonight...
Yeah, they are chasing A TON.

I’m at the game so it’s hard to tell - is the ump as horrid as he seems from here?

Just a terrible trade for Flaherty
And we’ll get to see that reinforced on Friday, in one of the most mind-boggling decisions of the season.

Yup.
We were complt3ely befuddled by a 40 year last night, and now we are being completely befuddled by Orioles farmhand who had a 5.00000 ERA in AAA.
And yet somehow people expect this team to go far in the playoffs?
No. We need at least 1-2 more pieces hitting wise and a PURE shut out pitcher to be a true WS contender.
I mean Rom? Are you serous? This guys succccks.
I actually expect them to do better in the playoffs. We suck against bad pitchers this year.

Unbelievable that we are being dominated by a guy with an 8 ERA
Is it, though? Seems like high ERA guys frequently over perform against us. I’d almost rather face a legit ace every night.

DAMMIT,We should be lighting up this guy..and got nothing..the Santander K in the first was a killer...
Yeah, that was a massive momentum swing.

A blow out loss. Hope Tampa can lose.
It’s 1-0 in the top of the second inning.

Please explain to me:
Nolan Gorman reaches on a fielder's choice, fielded by first baseman Ryan O'Hearn. Willson Contreras to 3rd. Tyler O'Neill to 2nd.
O’Hearn thought about going to 2nd and ran out of time to get the out at first.

Are we back in Boston?

A lot of times when we score double digit runs, we can't score the next game.
We scored double digits in 4 of the last 5.

What in the world was Santander doing?
-
Yeah, at this point I’d rather they just hit the showers and get headed back home.

It seem like calling Grayson an ace is premature and wishful thinking. Really need to upgrade the rotation in the offseason.
It wasn’t his best day, but if the defense hadn’t sucked ass, he could have finished 5 or 6 serviceable innings. And that’s his worst start in quite a while.

I’m thinking about Lopez still being in the game after giving up a HR.
