  1. Very excited for the inevitable 4-1 Os dub.
  2. I agree with that perhaps in a season-long managerial, soft-skills sense. But I don't think getting ejected in a single game increases your chances to win said game.
  3. From a brief Google search, seems like the answer is no: https://medium.com/@adamsalorio/understanding-the-relationship-between-managerial-ejections-and-winning-percentage-eaa46b28db3d
  4. He strikes as someone who we will love or hate depending on the month.
  5. As long as it remains a one-run game, not that worried. The Nats bullpen is 23rd in the league
  6. If you want to see a bunch and avoid crazy crowds, go to Haines Point, which is right by the Tidal Basin. Just as many and almost as scenic without 5,000 screaming teenagers from the Midwest.
  7. Oh nice. If I wasn't blacked out of MASN in D.C., I'd have it in a second.
  8. That's awesome. I haven't had MLB.tv in years. Do they still let you do the "park sounds" option that has no commentary?
  9. Don't think Adley could have done better there.
  10. Since the...means by which I watch games always results in the home team's crew, I've heard a lot of different booths. We don't appreciate the Orioles announcers enough, even with the praise they routinely get.
  11. From the crack Nats announcers, I have learned the "Nats fans have cooler sunglasses than Orioles fans" and "Orioles fans are bad at Moo-ing"
  12. Two minutes in and this is amazing. Three immediate questions: 1) How were fans on the field so often in the 70s? 2) Nixon?! 3) The NBC logo wasn't always a peacock?
  13. I can't find the post, but Tony once said something like, "From what I've heard, if he wasn't in baseball, I'll just say he wouldn't be pursuing a PhD." I think of that every time he's on the mound.
