I would rather have had Holliday hit great but this could work out. We gain the extra year. Reasonable people can’t suggest we manipulated his service time. He can still be back up well before the 2nd half if they think he’s ready for another go at it.
Won’t surprise me but Urias, according to Fangraphs was much better at 2B than 3B last year. He was actually better at 2B than Westburg according to DRS and OAA.
McKenna up. Sounds like either Mateo gets the 2B job or is the short side of the platoon with Urias. Who starts against Stripling (I guess Urias) should give us the answer.
Not for Samuel Basallo but it seems most hitters take off after being promopted from Aberdeen to Bowie. Of course, Bradfields hitting profile is a bit different than our previous prospects.
People had unrealistic expectations and now they’re disappointed over his first 54 PA. If he hits .300 those same people will be penciling him into CF OD 2025.
Cowser and Norby pretty much sucked their first month or two at Aberdeen.
