    It’s a good role for him. He has taken to second well and he’s not playing vs righties. A smaller part time role is a better use of him. He hadn’t proved in the past that he could play other positions but he’s showing it this year.

    It starts by not clicking on them. I for one think this thread is way worse than trade speculation stuff. It’s a message board. Deal with it, ignore it or go away. Those are the 3 simple options.

    He’s better at his age than Povich has basically ever been. Higher K rate, better walk rate, great HR rate and high Gb rate. As a prospect, he’s better. Doesn’t mean he will be the better pitcher. Povich has had a good month. He was inconsistent and unreliable throughout his whole pro career (although good potential) up until this April.

    I doubt DeLeon is in the rotation next year. Povich may not be the best pitching prospect on his own team. He’s just off to a better start than McDermott.

    It’s not so much the ranking as saying he may be the more important than Mayo and Basallo. That’s a bit much and yes I get the idea that he’s a pitcher and we need that but high end elite talent is always more important and valuable.

    High GB% and high K rate is such a wonderful combo. His swingstr% could use some improving but it’s not too far from very good.
