  1. Elly is so good we have to worry about him hitting a leadoff go-ahead grand slam.
  2. He had the yips last year to start the year and fixed it toward the end. But he's not catching many people with a pop time of 1.98 either.
  3. He's slowed down meaningfully in his time to 2nd. It's a little concerning. He used to be low-1.9, now he's 1.98.
  4. Dead ball due to batter interference isn't challengeable, it's considered a judgement call.
  5. wow that was a cheap interference call.
  6. That strike 3 to Mountcastle did look like a strike on the side replay. Good pitch.
  7. I bet you'd call us closet MFY fans for saying that Soto's having a monster year too.
  8. Elly is legitimately looking like a monster this year. Thankfully Gunnar is a bigger monster.
  9. I'm not going to lie, the fact that every visiting team bellyaches about Walltimore has almost entirely caused me to change my stance on it. I used to dislike it and think it was too much but now I kind of am digging it just because it pisses off opposing players so much.
  10. Cowser's taking some lumps today. Runs into the wall, runs into a baseball...
  11. His arm is like his biggest plus skill defensively... 90+ percentile arm strength both last and this year.
  12. People call the new dimensions a joke, but I love seeing triples - I think they're one of the most exciting plays in baseball - and we've seen 2 triples because of the new dimensions today.
  13. Okay, so I went to look for sources to refute this and I found that both my definition and yours are sometimes used so it can mean either. https://www.theringer.com/mlb/2019/1/23/18193861/multiposition-players-flexibility-jed-lowrie-dj-lemahieu ^ clearly implies that productivity of the player is an important component. But I've seen other people include the number/breadth of positions (e.g. both infield and outfield) as a requirement.
