  1. Has Palmer crossed over from arrogant to cranky arrogant?
  2. His throws all year have been weak.
  3. Went slider in. The change hasn't been very good today and was crushed a few times so it may have made sense to go back to that inside slider.
  4. Nice standing ovation there for Mancini.
  5. That was an impressive home run.
  6. I may be most excited about our announcers actually being at the game so they don't have to guess off the game feed on fly balls.
  7. Yep, two wild pitches or one wild really wild pitch, or an error on a pickoff play could allow this to happen. The pitcher, if on the home team could have a line of 1 IP, 0 H, 1 R, 0 ER, 0 BB, 0 HBP, 3K and pick up a loss.
  8. Not very common but it has happened. Jose Bautista went through multiple team but I'm not sure when the last time this happened.
  9. I don't necessarily think one game is going to change Miami's mind especially with his sinker and slider showing above average movement. He's allowed one hit and that happened to be a grand slam home run. Now if he continues to struggle with his command they might offer him back at some point, especially if they feel they are legitimate contenders and need a spot, but I think others will take a chance on him before he ends up back with the Orioles anyways.
  10. Yes, runs that score from 2nd base in extra innings are considered unearned runs.
  11. Note that fastball was "only" 94. He walked two and allowed all four runs. His ERA is now 27.00.
  12. The Orioles will go into the home opener with a 4-2 record despite Mancini (.472 OPS), Mountcastle (.439), Franco (.561), and Galvis (.390) not hitting and Hays already on the IL. Mullins (1.239) and Santander (.713) are the only regulars with OPS over .700. The rotation: Means: 0.77 ERA thru 2 Starts Harvey: 3.86 Zimmemann: 4.50 Lopez: 7.71 Kremer: 9.00 The bullpen: Valdez: 4.1 IP (0.00 5K, 3 H, 1 BB) Scott: 2.2 IP (0.00, 5K, 1 H, 2 BB) Sceroler: 2.2 IP (0.00) Plutko: 5.1 IP (0.00) Tate: 2 IP (0.00) Sulser: 2 IP (0.00) That's some pretty good relief pitching. Right now it's been the pitching, not the hitting that has kept them in games. Now if we can get the hitters going.
  13. What are the actual chances that Fry does not give up a run here? I mean, literally without a runner on 2nd I'm thinking there's a 505-50 chance Fry gives up a run here.
  14. Tony the actual Tiger may have had a better at bat!
  15. He just pitched 2.2 IP two days ago. He's not pitching tonight.
