Suarez needs to go the bullpen and he could definitely help there in a long/middle relief role. Suarez's fastball is averaging 95 MPH this year maybe pitching in relief and can add 2 to 3 more MPH when he needs it.
I don't doubt his stuff. I doubt his command.

Kremer is fine but he doesn’t solve the weaknesses of this team. He is someone that can force Suarez into the pen though and that helps somewhat, although we have no idea if we can really trust him there as of yet.
I don't trust Suarez at all. He seems to lose command quickly.

I think we all need to take a deep breath. Yes, this team does have areas to address. We need to be patient. This team was due for a losing period. They really didn't have a long losing streak last year. All teams normally go through a bad period. Just relax.

I think Cleveland is a very good team, but there is no way they are going to continue this hot of hitting with RISP.

Is he even the first guy in the rotation that would be replaced?
Unfortunately, no...

How long are we gonna keep rolling Irvin out there as a starter?

I don't want to see Vladdy go to the Yankees only to finally see him reach his potential.
Dunno why, but he's a guy I'd love to have on my side.

And somehow Cashman will pull it off. Not Frazier exactly, but a grouping of non prospects for a trade
And people have yet to figure out that Yankees prospects are truly overrated.

I don't think there's a player on this list I would be afraid of moving on from.

Ho-hum...the 1983 Orioles had two seven game losing streaks...let's all just settle down.

Cowser is a better defender than Kjerstad range wise and has a much stronger arm, but Cowser's throwing accuracy has become an issue. Kjerstad is a little awkward out there and his arm is very inconsistent and doesn't have a ton of strength, but he's moving well enough to cover ground and catches everything he gest to.
At this point though, Cowser's bat is putting him on the bench.
I would agree with your earlier post. Cowser just doesn't seem to have the ability to get to the offspeed stuff consistently enough. I think he will be alright, but the strikeouts are very concerning.

Love Burnes on this team, but I think it would be an unwise investment for a limited budget team. The priorities should be extending Henderson and/or Adley.

It's hard to wrap my head around the sheer stupidity of the players and fans going crazy over unintentional HBP's. When they hit the most players in baseball and have hit many more of our own players, etc. And the media tries to stir it up and the Orioles just play baseball and block all that out. It was perfect that we didn't retaliate, didn't instigate... didn't play those games and just knocked their teeth in the baseball way.
Yup. Let's hope they use it for inspiration. First off, Suarez had very little command on Tuesday AND Judge was moving into the pitch. The second one on Torres was Akin...who definitely has command issues on occasion. Yankees fans and media don't ever look in the mirror. They've hit FAR more batters than the O's.

My biggest problem is what John Heyman said. Another day of legacy media spewing gardage over facts. Yankees have now hit us 9 times in 7 games.
Sorry...I missed what Hack Heyman said...what exactly did he say?

No lead is safe against the Yankees, especially w/ Judge in the lineup.
Especially when Irvin is serving up meatballs.

That’s why walks suck.
Yup...an 8-1 game is the PERFECT time to pitch to Soto with no one on base!!!!!

Stop throwing the ball out over the plate to the right handed hitters.

Would have been nice to get a couple there...

Would love to see Irvin go out and have a quick shut-down inning.

Amen. I'll take a nice short-porch dinger from Ced!

Events like this make me hope we start developing more and better pitching prospects. Pitchers are so volatile, it makes sense to home-grow them. I would be reluctant to give any pitcher a long-term deal.

Did they change the option rules? I thought each season, you could move a guy back and forth from the minors as many times as you wanted and it was all considered ONE option.
