Dobbins really does need the ball a lot more.
I get limiting him during the season but what the hell were they saving him for this game? This is it. Dude would've won the game for you if you just feed him at the line and all game.

Why even go there, when you're just about guaranteed a touchdown if you let Dobbins/Edwards run it four times.
Because Roman is a contrarian who hates doing obvious things. Literally just hand the ball and we probably win.
Was good to see Dobbins closer to 100 percent and Edwards looked fresh too. Those two healthy plus Lamar and any type of passing game would be so difficult to defend.
If they're dumb enough to bring back Roman this team just won't be worth following.

Knew it, if Harbaugh was going to blame anyone for that play he was going to blame Huntley for the execution of the sneak. How about this you have Dobbins and Edwards both running the ball effectively, and instead of relying on them you attempt a pass to Ricard and then try a terrible QB sneak play.
They hand off there they probably win. Just gross. But necessary sacrifice to get rid of Roman.
This season was flushed down the toilet the second they decided to bring back Roman.

And if for some reason you don’t call a timeout there, you certainly don’t huddle up
They were burning as much time as possible. I get you don't want to leave any time for Cincy but Jesus you need to focus on scoring.
Harbaugh adds nothing. No legit playoff runs in a decade. Dude needs to recognize it's time for a change.

Well good thing the owner is BFFs with the coach and we get to waste years of lives watching this garbage.

Literal idiocy.
Anyone who defends this staff is brain dead.

Drained way too much time.

This is like a horror movie where you can sense a jump scare coming.

And...why in the world do they not have Dobbins in goal line situations?
You have two stud backs just hand the damn ball off.
Too complicated for our geniuses.

Grossest thing I've ever seen.

Hamilton has really delivered. Might've kept us in the game there. Got us a ball game.

There are texts from the girl basically begging him to get rough with her.
Anyway, we never sign TORs so we'd have to get unorthodox to get one, so I'd be in favor.

Lamar officially out.
Of course he's not going to push himself and risk worsening/cause new injury.
-
Gonna be rolling with one of the worst receiving corps ever assembled at this point.

Two playoff wins in what 9-10 years since the Super Bowl?
1 playoff win with Lamar on a rookie deal just says it all. If he couldn't win with a cheat code making peanuts how the hell is he going to win going forward? He just doesn't help the team win and actively hurts by continually not taking points, lousy in game coaching, hiring failed coordinators simply because they're friends of a Harbaugh and stubbornly sticking with them too long. Just doesn't add value on either side of the ball. We know he's a rah rah guy who maybe helps morale in the beginning of his tenure but I personally would've upgraded the offseason Kyle Shanahan was shopping around for a heading coaching gig the year he went to SF (posted as much here). If we had Shanahan or really just any halfway decent offensive minded head coach, we'd be on par with KC/Buffalo if not above them.
Billick also got stale toward the end. Do we win the second Superbowl if we were too afraid to replace him?

They literally just had to sign one impact player and 99% of fans would've been thrilled.

Yeah, that's not bad. Was expecting something totally ridiculous.
We just need new ownership. That's really all it boils down to.

Coming off a .612 OPS.
Kyle Gibson and Adam Frazier for 18 mil, what an offseason.

Huntley is a pretty savvy QB with the ability to run a bit, but his lack of arm strength really is what would not allow to start long term for anyone really. I like Huntley as a back up, but his throws are limited.
Yeah can't really argue that. My point was he's a quality backup whereas Trubisky is .. well not. You also don't get some of the wonky decision making from Huntley that Lamar may force. It's almost like Lamar is playing high sometimes.

That was pretty pathetic yes? It's as if the team that played smart, hard defense with a well run offense was replaced by last year's team.
Looked like a totally different team. Definitely playing on empty. That four game stretch was just brutal. They don't have the depth obviously. Normally we'd have nothing but cupcakes lined up under Turgeon, maybe they'd face one legit team pre conference play. This year was just way too much but you still can't come out looking like that.

The Ravens have shown for a very long time that we can succeed without an elite QB.
They were sub .500 over the 6-7 years right before Lamar saved the coaches. Success of this franchise was Ray leading a historically good defense. They were also killing it in the draft regularly.
-
Yeah, it's a total crapshoot. We got freakishly lucky with Lamar .. and then failed to exploit that luck.

They don't even have to fire Roman. His contract expires. Just replace him with someone who can run an actual passing scheme and has a feel for playcalling.
The only time Roman has helped the Ravens win a meaningful game .. he was on the other team.
