Which teams would Huntley start for?

I like him but he wouldn’t start anywhere except maybe Houston.

Houston, Carolina, Indy, NO, maybe Jets. Atlanta maybe if they feel Ridder isn't ready (and he's probably not the answer). Denver is stuck with Wilson, so won't include them.

I actually made some money on it too because I had a feeling they were in for a clunker.

When they come out in their first away game, makes me wonder if that (different ball) messes with them. So weird that you can supposedly use whatever type of ball you're affiliated with.

Yeah was feeling a down game coming too. New to betting but waiting for games to start and betting in-game seems like the way to go when the line swings too far in one direction early on.

The different ball thing really is so bizarre. We have struggled greatly on the road in recent seasons. Not sure how much of that is normal road woes but would think using a different ball doesn't help.

They, and especially Scott, played about as poorly as they could and it was still close.

Not sure if I heard right, but they had a 2 of 17 shooting stretch toward the end. Was only even close because Wisconsin kept missing free throws. But, it's actually encouraging they were that awful shooting and still in position to tie at the end. Made a few bucks betting on Maryland when the line got down to +8.5. Tough loss but kinda fluky (they're not gonna shoot that poorly again although they also aren't as good shooting as they were during their hot stretch of games).

Lamar is what happens when you don't have an agent and team of people running your Twitter to make sure you don't say stupid stuff.

I'm sure Lamar was emotional after another bad loss, but he has to be smart enough to stay away from Twitter after games.

Whatever money Lamar saved by not having an agent, he just flushed it down the toilet on endorsements lost.

Anyway, hopefully this season results in Roman being replaced. Only light at the end of the tunnel.

Low IQ, poorly coached team that is more about hugs than holding players responsible for poor play that has already blown three double digit leads in the final QTR before today's effort. Nothing can shock me with this team. I root them on and will continue to do so, but win or lose, I move on with my day and week.

Yep, nobody should be emotionally invested in this team, with these coaches. If they get lucky and have some fluke run in the playoffs - great. But nobody should expect it.

BTW, Lamar being on social media and name calling fans using homophobic slur just reflects on his immaturity and lack of intellect. You can't defend it. Maybe he should spend less on time on twitter and more time working on his godawful accuracy.

I miss Bigbird.  He actually had real inside info and was a good poster.

The Hangout really grew in big ways back then.

Yeah, those were fun times on here. Do you, or anyone, know his source? Was it Jim Duquette?

  7. It's almost like having a coach who can actually coach matters. Incredible how much smarter and more efficient this team is, which is essentially the same roster as last year. Notable exception is Jahmir Young transferring over and replacing the godawful Fatts Russell at point guard. Otherwise, Reese grew and his game really polished, can see him playing at the next level. Scott lost 20 pounds and also has elevated his game. Hart got taller as well and should be really solid. Those four guys form a really strong nucleus.

I think it needs to be more uptempo. That’s the biggest change needed to the current offense.

Roman takes forever to get plays in. I also think Harbaugh prefers the clock draining, slow grinding pace. But, yeah, we should be exhausting defenses.

Lamar wasn't this inaccurate in 2019. Is he just not practicing hard enough? Doesn't help he has the worst receivers in the league. Notice things started off better this year then dropped off after losing Bateman. Rapport just isn't there with receivers on longer stuff.

That pass play in the flat where Roquan flattened Kamara for a gain of 1 on 3rd down is exactly the kind of play that Queen would either get trucked or misread the play and give up 10.

Was refreshing to see a big stop like that. A real tone setter. We used to get plays like that constantly from Ray and company but it's been a disaster zone lately. You add Roquan, get back Bowser, Ojabo .. give Macdonald some time to improve, I feel more confident than I did with Wink's units.

Without Andrews, offense is actually more balanced as it forces Lamar to spread the ball around and defense can't just key in on one guy. They really just need to keep it simple, have Lamar sustain drives and play turnover free higher % plays. His accuracy is painful though. Seems like every game he's missing 2-3 wide open big plays. Agree with SG, that may cost us in the playoffs. Almost every game would be a total blowout if he'd just hit on 1-2 of these a game.

There isn’t any evidence that the players don’t like playing for Harbaugh.

Talking about Greg Roman, who Hollywood cited as not enjoying playing for.

  11. Imagine being Lamar. You don't pay him. You trade his No. 1 receiver and best friend on the team. You do nothing to replace that receiver. You have a lame brained coach nobody likes playing for hurting your stats and costing you money.

He needs to communicate directly to Bisciotti that Roman needs to be replaced or he's never extending. I mean, damage is probably already done - you can read it all over his face and body language - but that's the only way change happens (similar to Joe finally getting Cam Cameron replaced). It's basically a given we'll get out coached in the playoffs if we don't replace him. And likely nail in the coffin in terms of keeping Lamar.

Desean Jackson WR (35) coming in for a workout

Pathetic. Hurts got AJ Brown, Josh Allen got Diggs the year before that. We give Lamar the worst WR corps in the NFL and a clueless OC who doesn't help him.

They had a ton of draft picks in a deep WR class and thought it was a good idea not to draft a single one after losing Hollywood. Like how is that good decision making?

Disagree.. You now have to go what, 30 yards in two minutes to kick a Fg for the win? If Jackson can't do that, the Ravens deserve to lose.

Yeah when you have Tucker and Lamar just be conservative, take points and you should really win by default. Even when he's off with his arm Lamar picks up firsts so easily with his feet.
