And thankful we don't have to face Houston this year. They're really coming on.
-
What we really need during this difficult stretch of games is another nice long losing streak from the AL East.
-
Don't forget Jason Hammel's line Saturday vs Baltimore.
-
The thing is, you could tell it was coming for New York. Some day they were going to have to pay the piper for signing older players. It happened last year and this year.
-
Up 1.5 games now.
-
Why?
.....
Easier to find and track; I like looking at how our former guys are doing.
-
Thanks; and is there anyway this can go back to the O's section? Please?
-
So far Bud has been better than I thought he would be, LJ Hoes is off to a horrible start, Hader looks special but has a long way to go... and of course their is the first round pick.
Don't think it will ever go down as a win for the O's.... but it will take several years to play out.
We gave up our first round pick? I thought it was some other type of pick? Can someone correct me?
-
So how many laughers this year? two?

Slim pickin's. I see maybe four guys of whom I would kick their tires moving forward. Amazing some of the production we got out of them in Baltimore.
Gregg, Mclouth, Reynolds and Rodriguez? Hammel and Feldman?
-
When I see that list, I have nothing else to say but "Wow!"
-
He has had quite the day. Whatever his treatment to heal was, it sure helped with that .132 batting average.
We all know the Yanks have that good old man juice.
-
JJ has 2 wins in last 2 outings...and the A's are red hot.

Are either of these because he blew the save?

Any update on how "Ball Four" is doing?
-
Seen them in Ocean City on the Boardwalk and the Tee-Shirt Shops.
Thanks; I live in the Bahamas, so if anyone sees some online, let me know.

I'm looking for a T-shirt that says this:
I cheer for two teams
1. The O's
2. Anyone playing the Yankees
-
What was Hammel's line tonight?
-
I simply said that it was not appropriate for the team at that time. You would never have sold the tickets you did last season had you traded their closer after finally winning. There was not proper way to handle that. The result proved your guess to be correct. It was not a possible situation.
Depending on what you got back, you might have had no problem selling tickets.
-
Too bad for JJ. Great move by DD to sell high on him, but I hope he gets he juice back. Probably better suited as a 7th/8th inning guy.
I don't think he sold high on him. If we would have in 2012, that would have been selling high. I just haven't had any confidence in him since Ibanez in the playoffs.
-
K-Rod struck out swinging Napoli, Bogaerts, and Gomes. Hoes' homer was vs. the Yankees, Reynolds' vs. the Red Sox. Feldman's two wins have been against the Y's and Angels.
Sorry, guess I was thinking more along the lines of Arrieta, Hammel and Strop with the Cubs.
-
I wonder how much of these pitchers' success comes from getting out of the AL East and in some cases out of the AL altogether?
-
Don't know if we count Balfour, but he got a save for the Rays last night. JJ pitched a scoreless inning for the A's last night as well. On another note-Tommy Hunter has 0 blown saves on the year.
-
Unless they tie.
What are you talking about; there's no tying in baseball, there's no tying in baseball! (unless it's the all star game)
A look at the Orioles, by month

I love it; let's do it, just let's not pass LAA for the first seed. We want the AL Central winner and not Oakland.
