Favorites: 1987/1991. Maybe it was the 55k hankies (j/k), but the Twins were a fun team to watch. The top pitchers (Viola/Morris) of each pitching games 1,4,7.
Least: 2014 with SF/KC for obvious reasons, and I was living in KC at the time.

The best players already lost a year of their prime. It would be a shame to lose additional time.

Yea I thought he was the best WR in the draft.
BTW, a positive today was Bateman. Not going to be surprised if he is WR2 out of this draft class.
Agreed..Bateman was impressive. The rest of the game was sad.

Not really on topic, but ..maybe...
Chris Russo was on DP last week and had a great point. MLB's fans don't follow the next round if their team doesn't advance. It's not like that with the NFL and others.
The constant pitching changes etc and 3.5 hour games get old. Although, I don't think the abbreviated year last year did SP's any favors.

RE: Brandon Knight
This one is just odd. Maybe the guy lost his passion to play. Why would you not come play for a 5-1 team with a good change to start since the #1 went on IR?

I love how they must have handed out Oriole hats. Poor kids (j/k).

Yes, he's the 84th rated ILB, but he's also the age of most College Sr's. Hopefully there's some solid growth by years 3-4.

If EDC turns any of the bunch into a 4th or better...I'd be shocked even for the Ravens FO.

Wow, floor of a #2 for Rodriguez. That's pretty high praise. Let's hope he stays healthy.
Agreed..I was about to post the same thing.

Interesting to see DD & Proche get targeted so much with Bateman/Boykin coming back.
Glad they tied Pitt's record, but the running game is a concern.
It's fun to watch Oweh the chase the QB, but our LB's....

Im pretty sure he played ILB with NE.
Of course, that also brings up another issue…Collins has never been that good outside of BB’s defense.
And yea, Harrison has gone from a mid 50s PFF grade to around 30 this year.
In fact, both Harrison and Queen have a PFF grade under 38 right now. Worst MILB group in football right now.
Very concerning considering their draft position and capital. We really need them to turn it around.

It would be great to knock out Bos. Seattle's twitter account is certainly having fun rooting for the Orioles.
I know the thread says AL, but check out STL.
On 9/11, they were behind CIN, SDP, and in the mix with PHI & NYM.

Any chance he goes to the AFL?

Interesting thoughts here in the article. I doubt Jackson signs for the 14th APY QB contract. I hope he's sign for that, but he's an MVP and led the league in TD's at 24.

@OrioleDogThere's always Bundy's 2012 year that included 3 MiL stops and a cup of coffee in Baltimore (30 inn in Delmarva, 5 hits, 0 ER's)
Tough ending for Grayson. Was the weather a major factor?

I'm still surprised we won...I share a lot of the same thoughts mentioned. They found a way to contain Hill on Offense & Jones on the D-Line.
Did KC's run defense take a huge step back or was our game plan that good? Maybe both..
I thought the play calling was great last night, besides the gutsy 4th down call. They really seem to play to the team strengths on every play. I'd also like to see Duvernay get more touches. I think he can be special.
Oweh is a play maker...the timely sack last week and now this game. Wow..he might be our second best Defensive player by mid-season (behind Humphrey).

Since we're going 1-1 anyway, I'm ok if we only got 8 wins this year and it kept the Yankees out of the playoffs.

Soto. I think he'll hold up better 2028-29.

Here I thought I missed 15 pages of the O's adding 40 mill...

Favorite current Oriole and it's not close. He was interviewed recently on an Oriole podcast and he seems like a good guy to root for.

My guess is Tyler has a tired arm. He didn't pitch in 2019 or 2020. The 9 HR's in 54 innings are a huge concern, but he's only allowed 13 in 255 in the minors. He'll be a valuable piece next year.

This has absolutely been a successful season for Hays. I doubt less that 50% of fans thought he'd have 450+ AB's, let alone 20+ HR's with solid defense. Starting next year at 26, we possibly have 2-4 years of solid or increased production. I'm looking forward to it.
Who is the Orioles 2021 #3 prospect?

This is why I voted Hall. His floor is Britton, right?
