I'm pretty sure you can't get a refund, but you should have no problem at all selling the tickets and getting all your money back that way.

If it comes to it, I'm sure there will be plenty of users here willing to make you whole

Yeah I'm just an idiot. If it goes that far, I'll just go to the game. Just flaking and not realizing it wasn't on Monday 10/9 but Friday 10/13. If it doesn't go that far, my money will get refunded anyway.

So if we win the division, that means your tickets are for the deciding Game 5 of the series.

Crap I didn't even realize it when I was buying. I was looking at it as just game 3 and not realizing they were saying the 3rd home game of the series. Looks like I'm going to need to figure out how to cancel this purchase. :(

I was able to get a pair of Game 1 ALCS tickets but in my rush to get them since I kept missing out on them I guess I bought limited view seats behind the foul pole in section 74.  Anyone have any experience sitting in these "limited view" seats?

$120 per seat for tickets in section 348 was definitely more than I wanted to pay….But F it I’m in there game 2. Also I logged in at 10 and it refreshed for about 15 mins before I got in.

Yeah I got 2 for ALDS Game 3. Section 340 Row 25. I'm pretty sure that's the very top row haha. Pretty crappy (although I don't think there's really a bad seat at OPACY).

Could be once in a life time opportunity.  You don't want to look back next year and wish you would have gone especially if they clinch that day.

Now strap in, fire up the Pinto and get ready to roll!

Doesn't seem to matter anyway. Every time something pops up on a refresh, it says unavailable when I add to cart.

Every time I try to add seats to cart, they are not available. I'm about to give up.

I guess all the ticket agencies bought them up.

Yep. I was able to add tickets for game 3 but not really sure if I want to go to game 3. I live in Myrtle Beach so it's a bit of a hike to go on a Monday.

Same here. It only have three options and all say nothing available. WTF

This is pointless. I went into all three ALDS game. Game 1 shows no tickets now but even when it did, it would say unavailable. Game 2 shows nothing for me. Game 3 shows a ton but anything you click on says they aren't available to add to cart. Geez

It wasn’t as weakly hit as I thought when I saw it live — 94.4 mph off the bat.  But on the ground, and right down the line.  As someone here said, as if he was playing snooker.

As to the “Delmon Young” comment, it’s pretty apt in terms of how loud the stadium was at that moment.  OPACY can definitely get loud when the fans are riled up.  And the combination of the clutch hit and the thrill of watching Mateo at full throttle definitely riled us up!

I just love the fan reaction on that hit.  Going crazy in the stands and waving the runner home. It was awesome. Not quite the pop that the Delmon Young double/JJ slide at the plate got but I'm partial because I was at that game losing my mind. That was the loudest I have ever heard a stadium get.

I don’t think I have ever booed the Orioles. I grew up among Phillies fans who regularly booed their players simply for trying and failing, and I always found that distasteful. Now if a player doesn’t try, like that time when B.J. Upton loafed after a base hit in the gap, or when Sean Casey singled to left but got thrown out at first because he thought the ball was caught and didn’t run? That you boo. And jerks on other teams, or Cito? Of course.

Out of curiosity, @AdamK, is your son named after Ripken, or “& Hobbes”, or Coolidge?

Agree with this. I've never understood those fanbases that boo their team and/or players. I mean if they do some egregious non-sports related thing, okay. But booing your team because they try and fail, just never made sense to me.

I hate to say this, but I said it over a month ago.  This team will struggle to make the playoffs.

This team is going to struggle to make the playoffs.  Major fade out coming up.  I got ridiculed for saying this in August but I even believe this more today.

You were wrong then and you're wrong today.  The Orioles magic number to make the playoffs is 4. It's basically impossible for the Orioles to not make the playoffs.

I just don’t think they adjust their model in-season.   They decide before the year starts how good the players are and how good the team is, and if reality is different than that 80% of the way through the season, they assume their pre-season assessment was correct and that the in-season results are an anomaly that should be disregarded.   That might make some sense 25-50% of the way through a season, but at some point it becomes absurd.

I have similar thoughts. They seem like they never want to be wrong. Even if they look at run differential and Pythagorean w/l, that still says the Orioles should "only" be a .575 winning percentage team. Where does the projection that they should play .500 the rest of the way come into the picture? They've played 139 games of .633 baseball and now all of a sudden they're only going to be .500 the last 23 games because fangraphs made a preseason prediction that they would be bad?

  12. I looked up this NOW TV and see nothing about it having MASN. I know for a fact (because I was looking the other day) that the only streaming service to offer MASN is Directv Stream. Hopefully I'm wrong for your sake.

I typically don't like SG's hardass/hardline stance of "everything is your fault" but I agree here.

Get there early, eat early.  If you want to miss three innings because you feel the need to get a craft beer and don't like the Miller Lite they're bringing around, well, that's your problem.

Exactly right.  I don't know about other stadiums but OPACY is the best when it comes to bringing your own stuff in. Get a much cheaper brat or something outside the stadium, get your peanuts or pistachios, whatever and bring them in. The only thing I buy at the stadium is beer and unless you're in the upper decks (at least the last few times I was there), there will be vendors. That being said, the beer lines are usually pretty quick. I just don't know what people are expecting. Any kind of event like this (baseball, football, concert, etc), the lines are long. It's not uniquely related to the Orioles or OPACY. You have people working minimum wage to sling your hot dogs, tenders, popcorn, nachos, whatever.  They're going to go at their pace. They could care less that you're missing the game.

If you choose to stand in line for overpriced food (not saying I've never done it), it's your choice and it's going to take how long it takes.
