But he also doesn’t have to be the 9th inning guy either. Bring him to get a few key outs/K’s. Limit pitch count and pick the spots.

Gunnar is staying at SS for the next few years. Need to figure out 3B and 2B.
-
Adley is great but he needs a hitting shrink. No reason he should be pounding so many balls into the ground
-
Henderson is the real deal. 22 yrs old.

This is mostly about Hyde's stubborness with the lienup. Hays can barely run, Hicks and Frazier are bench bats, PH them late in game as needed - they will work the count get on base. Westburg should be on 2B and starting, Mullins should be higher in the order. Mountcastle's formerly hot back is not and he is injured. Need to make adjustments.

Very low expectations. Seems to still trying to figure thinsg out, may not be responding well to Os analytics feedback.

Everyone has a plan until they punched in the mouth.

Losing 4 of 5 at a bad time.

Tampa looks like the more complete team unfortunately.
-
Fairbanks is unhittable
-
Tampa 75-3 when leading in 9th.
-
Gunnar leading off most innings because AR keeps making the last out. Need GH up with men on base.
-
Hyde not reading the team. And yes this is where managers can make a difference. Adley needs a break or to be moved down it’s ok, sometimes players press. Westburg hits RHP, leave him in and have HK PH for Frazier if JW gets on base.
-
Useless. He can’t fall away and not swing. Adley that is a nothing at back with GH on deck facing a RHP.
-
Adley’s job is to take walk.
-
Still not understanding the point of Frazier. His job is to get on base. That’s it.
-
Oh my. Tough spot for HK.
-
Adley needs to make something happen this inning.
-
At this point Adler’s DP ball in the 5th was a killer. Doesn’t work the count. Gunnar on deck. He needs to move out of leadoff he is trying to do too much. Hate that Hyde won’t adjust.

We need Adley to start stepping up.
He has hit 6 homers in the second half. That is in over 200 at bats and in his last 80 PA, he has 2 doubles.
I know everyone here wants to continuously give him a pass but it’s time for him to step up. The OBP is all well and good but his slugging hasn’t been over 430 in a month and 420 slugging is just not acceptable for a player that should be doing more than that.
We need him in this series and I think they need to lower him in the lineup and get him in a driving the ball mindset. It’s time for him to start stepping up. This has been the Gunnar and Santander show for much of the last few months. Adley needs to join the party other than walks and singles.
This 100%. Also the benefit of being in the top of the lineup is more at bats. They are not warranted right now and AR may be better served to bat 4th especially with Mountcastle potentially out.
I would go
Mullins, Gunnar SS, Santander (DH), Adley, O’Hearn, Hays, Hicks (RF), Westburg, Frazier/Urias

Also Google/YouTube TV Sunday ticket has a student plan for $109.

Does Hyde have something to prove? We know he can manage through a long development process, guide young players to become a winning team and works well with the FO, analytics department and coaching staff. Can he recognize when a team needs a boost, change an approach (ie move AR out of LO) manage a playoff team, handle high pressure games? Time to find out.

Os in playoffs but not looking like a division chompian. (sic-Pat McAfee)

The division is not locked down cause TB is not losing many games. Hyde keeps changing the lineup and alternate players not pushing the right buttons. Os are in playoffs but Div title looks sus right now maybe they need a setback. It’s too bad the div title and 100 wins would have been nice.
Celebrate the playoff clinch?
