What am I missing? The guy has a .297 OBP. He should not be on the team / never have been signed given our minor league talent, full stop.

Does he have any real potential? VERY small sample size but in limited at bats he’s been tearing it up so far…

I just think you can have Santander Stowers Hays and Mullins basically in a 4 man rotation (+/-) each playing 3 days out of 4 (can also mix in as DH). If Stowers is sitting on bench agree he should be getting ABs in AAA, but he shouldn’t be sitting on the bench!

The tip options that pop up in this new cashless Camden yards are also absurd. What used to be a 1-2 dollar cash tip seems the Orioles are now expecting us to tip 4, 5, 6 dollars for. It’s ridiculous.

Misguided to sit in his own hearing. Not referring to the money. My understanding is that it is rare for the player to actually attend for exactly this reason -feelings can get hurt which serves no one.

My bigger issue here is that Burnes should not have gone to the hearing. OF COURSE the Brewers were going to have to say not nice things about him to win the monetary dispute - that's why good agents/advisors advise their clients not to attend.. I think going shows he received bad advice and/or is immature, and I think that's where it may be a bit of a bad look for him. I feel bad for the Brewers that they have to feel the brunt of their player being misguided. Either way, none of this is particularly relevant to the broader conversation here.
