  1. I'll admit, it looked like he was off and his body language was awful. But every single coach has access to every warmup pitch he throws, and I find it hard to believe that he could fool all of them before stepping on that mound. My guess (uneducated and uninformed as it may be) is that he tweaked something on one of his first pitches, and thought he could work his way through it. Hyde and Ebel came out, and in the end it is THEIR decision to keep him on the mound or not. Until we have proof that Kimbrel was nefariously hiding an injury, it's all speculation.
  2. A turd on his way to the HOF
  3. And you were somehow miraculously privy to all conversations they were having? Don't you think that if something wasn't right with him while warming up, the bullpen coach would have told Hyde about it?
  4. That doesn't mean he was hiding anything. He could have injured himself today on the mound, then reassured Hyde that he was still good to go.
  5. And you know for sure he is hiding an injury... how?
  6. In any case, Elias' plan A just might have gotten flushed down the potty
  7. Tell you what. If Kimbrel is hurt (and it looks like he is), I'd consider Suarez for the setup man and move Cano to closer Or swap roles?
  8. The Brewers have one of the best records in the NL right now. I don't think they quite believe they're sellers.
  9. The Yankees should be more afraid of the O's than the other way around. "I'm not locked in here with you. You're locked in here with ME!"
  10. Hoping he can calm down and throw 2 more innings.
  11. They're playing good baseball, but this is not the typical Evil Empire. If the O's get their bullpen sorted out, I'm not afraid of them at all.
  12. Mountcastle with the freaking MISSILE
  13. Huh? Last year the O's were 6.5 games back of the Rays on May 8, Jun 9 and and finally on July 1. They won the AL East by 3.0 games.
  14. But he recovered with good pitches. Though you're probably incapable of admitting it.
  15. He hit a batter, got a lazy fly ball out, and gave up a half swing seeing eye ground ball single. How is that a "typical Baumann start"? And... a great changeup swinging K
  16. And... I can't understand why Stowers didn't get the call. Defensive comparison aside, he can actually hit LH pitching.
  17. My take is simple (like me). McKenna has one job on this team, and he didn't do it very well at a key point of last night's game. It happens in baseball. I'm not expecting McKenna to be on the roster for long. He will likely be DFA'd in the near term.
  18. I don't think he throws enough to put stress on his arm.
  19. He was in the box. No interference at all if that's what you mean
  20. Burnes doesn't hold runners on particularly well.
