He did look good last night, but we've seen him look good before only to have a disaster in his next appearance. There's so much raw ability here, though. I'm hoping we re-sign him this offseason and the analytics department can work with him before ST 2024. Maybe some time at Driveline or whatever hip baseball lab the kids are going to in these offseasons, too.

I agree. I think there would have been a time, maybe early last year where he'd have fallen apart. He's figured out how to battle and get through innings if he doesn't quite have his best stuff.
