Yeah. I'm excited because it's him, but I'm also wincing at the fact that he had a rough spring and the team doesn't seem to know what they're doing. I agree with an above post, if he's going to be a bust, he's going to be a bust...at some point you've gotta throw him to the wolves and see what you've got. For the reading comprehension impaired, I'm not predicting that he will be a bust, I'm saying that the possibility exists. I was thinking they'd call up Watkins and I'd have been okay with that. I'm excited to see G-Rod pitch at the ML level but after that spring training he had, the first MiL start...I mean, it's obvious that he has some stuff that he needs to iron out. And that's okay, that's acceptable. What seems a bit weird is that he's their first option to go to after taking the time to explain to everyone that he needs more refining after the bad spring training. It seems like a bit of a knee-jerk move but whatever. Maybe we'll be surprised today and he'll be just fine.

I really don't care what political persuasions the ownership has. I also don't care about any kind of donations, I'm under no illusion that people with that wealth are doing it because they're benevolent, but because it's a nice tax write-off and they look good in public. I also don't believe that the Angelos family would be spending on this team if they had different agendas. They are who they are when it comes to this perspective.

I think it’s hysterical that a hot button issue for SG is who gets to and does t get to throw out the first pitch at an Orioles game based on the political affiliations.

I don't really understand it. Grayson's a big boy, he's not always going to be able to throw to Adley for every game. If his team needs him, his team needs him, it doesn't matter who's back there. I get that the fanbase has a massive stiffy for wanting to see G-Rod throw to Adley at the ML level, we should have plenty of chances to see it. But I think we'll all be okay, G-Rod included, if it doesn't happen in his first start.
