  1. You’re starting to sound like Moose!
  2. I’m interested in knowing if anyones opinion has changed this year.
  3. I guess it's safe to start this thread now. He's earned himself another start. He's not awful. He's not that good. He lacks an out pitch.
  4. The orthopedist is actually the second opinion. This initial opinion is the radiologist who interprets the imaging and prepares the report for the orthopedist. The orthopedist reviews that report and the imaging themselves and forms their diagnosis. Seeking another opinion is actually the third set of eyes to interpret the imaging. So there have already been at least two sets of eyes who have seen the imaging.
  5. He's going out there with confidence. It's almost like there is a burden off of his shoulders. In my opinion, he should stay in long relief.
  6. He had an awful and inconsistent strike zone to work with today. He made his adjustments when needed. He looked decent.
  7. I think when Orioles graduate some of these kids this year, and if they play halfway decent baseball, that both sides will take the option.
  8. This makes me feel like they’re working on an extension with Means.
  9. ESR is legit. I’m sure that whoever is reporting it has legit sources.
  10. And I’m fairly sure he lurks here or posts. So, hey dude, you’re a better writer than you were a catcher. I’m sorry I tipped my pitches.
  11. Chris Brittingham. I have very fond memories with him at OPACY. We would always go with our little league team and sneak down to the orioles dugout. This was back during sellouts. Never got told to leave.
  12. I have a childhood friend who writes for them. He is not as sold on Correa as some. It is legit.
  13. I feel like these new streaming deals are a precursor to a deal being done. Extra revenue. Why sign a deal if there won’t be any baseball?
  14. Today I learned that Elrod Hendricks is from the Virgin Islands.
  15. I don’t think it’s a bad look. I do however think there is a lot of missing context. Medical imaging isn’t that cut and dry. Especially injuries that small. Each type of imaging has their advantages and disadvantages. Odds are, the O’s doctors aren’t even the first ones who interpret the imaging. Radiologists do that, so I’m willing to bet that the Orioles doctors were the second opinion, because they were the second set of eyes to interpret it. Was it a partial thickness tear? Full thickness? How was he finally diagnosed? If more than one MRI didn’t catch it, it was most likely a surgeon who went in arthroscopically. That’s the most invasive way, so that’s why it’s last.
  16. The Mets may be more dysfunctional than the Orioles.
