  1. Hays, make them pay for plunking our boys. Make them pay.
  2. You can search posts by tangotiger. that's Tom Tango.
  3. Nobody has said he's awful. He's young and learning how to navigate a full season in the majors. Don't say things like that, it's silly. He will have ups and downs and he will be fine.
  4. Yeah after allowing a 3 run homer. Made for an exciting game, I guess.
  5. Weird outing. GRod had like 4 whiffs through 4 IP with 3K's and now he's at 17 with 8Ks.
  6. It went swimmingly the last time they brought him after 7 days of no reps.
  7. I mean, he's my favorite player. If they have to trade Kjerstad/Stowers, etc for pitching then I'd be happy with 2 or 3 years of Taters. He wouldn't keep Cowser out of the lineup and will most certainly be much more valuable than Hays or Mullins.
  8. I'm not sure if anyone asked Tom Tango that when he made the thread about xStats and their purpose. I know a lot of questions were asked but I think Tom might not have seen them.
  9. I'm sure Hays is a defensive replacement and came in against a LHP. It's Kjerstad's first day back from the IL, they probably want to ease him back.
  10. Santander would be one of their cheaper players. He'll probably get 15-18M a year. They can afford both and they need to replace Verdugo, Rizzo, DJ, etc. They need hitting.
  11. He'd be a massive upgrade to Verdugo, can play 1B also, Rizzo is toast.
  12. I was teasing ya, Roy. I love ya.
  13. They should all be solid regulars, I wouldn't think they will be perennial all-stars.
  14. They need more bats than Soto, I THINK SO.
  15. I don't think it's out of the realm of possibility that Santander is a Yankee next year. He'd hit a ton of HRs in that stadium.
  16. He's young, he'll be fine more often than not.
  17. Orioles pitching sort of struggles with the 7-9 guys, which on most teams are terrible hitters.
  18. Good thing he has 2 RBIs and a run scored himself. Maybe that will redeem him being in the game.
  19. They also passed the O's in runs per game going into today.
  20. I think it's fine when you take it for what it is. Like I said, Gunnars groundout in the first with a launch angle of -2 and 100 MPH EV had an xBA of .440. Guys know where to setup on guys in the IF and OF so they are rarely in the wrong position to make easy plays on balls that statcast thinks should be hits. Mullins hit his ball 104 with a 32 LA and it went 409 feet 30/30 and an xBA of .760.
  21. Gunnars first out is an out 100 times out of 100 times. The launch angle was -2 and the EV was 100.5. The xBA was .440.
  22. Hell of a play by Cowser. Saved Rodriguez's ass.
  23. I was surprised he didn't get the game off today.
