Yeah, I'm not sure if he was nursing his groin or whatever, but he has excellent instincts out there and he isn't afraid to lay out or make plays at/over the wall with good success.

That was in the 9th. Mullins had a huge jump and would have easily been on 2B but this was the pitch Cowser fouled off.

Mullins definitely had 2B stolen when Cowser flicked a ball 20 inches off the plate away during what people were speculating was a hit-and-run. If Cowser lets that get to ball 3 instead of 2-1 who knows what happens next. If the result was the same, he rolls over to 2B and Mullins is on 3rd with 1 out.

Mullins has definitely lost a step and I'm not sure if he's just being cautious so he doesn't hurt his groin again or what, but he's special out there in CF on defense.

Sprint speed doesn't equal being good in CF. Mullins has great instincts and gets really good jumps on balls.

It's a bit early to ask that, right? What we don't have to worry about is his defense, so that's half the battle.

I think he'd be okay, but we'd miss Mullins range and ability to lay out for balls. Seems like Cowser tries to play stuff in front of him. If he keeps hitting you have to play him, I do think there is a defensive drop off from him compared to Mullins or Hays, my opinion only.

Luzardo would probably be the biggest trade deadline want for most teams if the Marlins keep this up.

I'm not sure if she has a career in OK. I'd bet he'd have his own place in any event because she will at worst be visiting...a lot.

Almost nobody would have been upset if they had traded Cowser for Cease. I have receipts too, like 350 pages of them. It's been 24 ABs, but I suspect he's not going to hit .500 for the season and get 10 RBI in every series.

I saw this earlier and I'm not sure if it's accurate but I'm not too worried either way, he's going to be pretty reliable this year and will blow some saves, just like Felix.
