He looked great, I was joking in the game thread about his lack of K's but this Cleveland team strikes out about 4 times a game. Really huge way to pickup the pen, John!

Ideally, you want a closer who strikes people out. This is why Bautista was so good and Cano and Perez aren't strikeout pitchers. I guess you could play the potential matchups with them in the 8th and 9th, but I don't want a 7K/9 guy closing out every game. That's asking for trouble.

O's went from a guy with an 18 K/9 to two different pitchers with a 7.5 K/9. Not a recipe for success as a closer.
