I saw Pearl Jam and had no idea I was about to. My then-girlfriend got tickets to a show in 1996 for my birthday, which falls in September at a comedy club/bar in Seattle called the Showbox. Turns out the live music was Pearl Jam and it was great, there were probably 600 people there, lot of fun. I knew they were playing the Key Arena that week so never would I have thought they were playing at a local club a couple of days before. One of the coolest birthday presents I have received.

You're acting like it's out of the realm of possibility that in his first full season, playing as much as he does he's not worn down some, which was what I said. You had to take it to the extreme (shocker) and say that people said he was run into the ground, which was disingenuous of you, but again, it's how you roll. I argue with 60-year-old children all day at work, I refuse to do it here. I concede to your expertise, he's completely fresh and hasn't looked tired at all this season. You've got a great eye for this stuff!

It's not like you've proven anyone wrong. It's his first ML full season and he's played more than any other C. He's looked tired, and after a nice two-week stretch you want to disregard the rest of the season. I picked him to be a 4 win player so I'm not disappointed in his season, but you literally had to sit on a post made two weeks ago after complete radio silence during his bad stretch to try to do a "gotcha". It didn't work.

It makes no difference. We're all looking for the shortcut to the World Series and that doesn't exist. They are going to be playing good teams with good pitching, they need to beat them, whomever it turns out to be.

I think Hall gets a legit chance at a rotation spot in the spring.

I think they're going to give him a real shot to fail as a starter next year. I don't mean he's going to fail, but I think they plan to keep him as a starter.

I get he's the "old grizzled veteran", but this dude has legit stood up this year and delivered exactly what we needed from him. It helps that he's an amazing human and teammate and I believe a huge influence on the culture of this team.
