I watched Erbe in the HoF game in Cooperstown against Toronto and Erbe looked really good, I think he might have gotten the win, I had such high hopes for that kid. That was 2007 I believe.

I remember thinking Brandon Erbe was going to be our Ace. Man, we made some awful picks in the aughts.

Because Colorado has more road wins than 0. Even bad teams win some games they aren't expected to in baseball.

He's another guy who has thrown as many innings this year as he has in any year and he's only at 40'ish.

This team plays close games nearly every night, the people shouting that Bautista should be available every day seem to look at just the portion of the picture an inch from their noses. This is his second ML season, he's a very large man, and there is precedent to not overuse him, especially if it means punting a game in August and looking at the bigger picture of the rest of the season.

He can play a few different spots on the field and is playing for a contract, I hope he does well.

Hopefully, we have something to root for this season.
