  1. I don't like the Andino side brim on Cuas.
  2. No idea why he'd start a LHB with a slider right in the middle of the plate lol.
  3. Yeah I don't think there was a person in the stadium that thought that was a HR.
  4. I think WHIP is probably a dated state. I feel like BB should not be included, but that's just me. In any event, if a guy throws 60IP and allows 40 hits, but walks 28, while striking out 28% he's going to have a high WHIP and probably not a lot of damage.
  5. It looked like it would be an out, then it missed the guy's glove and bounced off the top of the shed. It wasn't a no doubter. If I'm out in the car I always put the radio on because they are infinitely better at describing the game.
  6. Now Jazz Chisholm has the magic Yankee uniform pixie dust. 3 HR's in 2 days.
  7. For guys with 11+ K/9 it's much more palatable.
  8. Are you listening on MASN? They most certainly did not ignore the HR. It did look like it would be caught.
  9. Soto has a FIP of 3.61, I don't look at ERA, it's an especially stupid way to judge a RP because one really bad inning can hose you for the season. If you look at the advanced metrics instead of the silly stats, you'd probably feel a bit better about both of them.
  10. I doubt Basallo is. Mayo most definitely.
  11. Yeah, I can recite it now by memory but I have no idea what I'm saying.
  12. I'm glad he's smart enough to not throw the farm at 20 or so innings for the rest of the season.
  13. Burnes is carving. 7K's 12 whiffs through 5.
  14. I feel like he upgraded the team quite a bit and we kept our prized prospects to help out soon.
  15. Burnes is throwing the 2 seamer not the cutter that hard. He rarely ever uses it, perhaps that's the velo on it.
  16. When Jimenez was 22 he was hitting 31 homers in the MLB. That's a bold statement. I get that he's been hurt a lot, but he's probably not cooked at 27. He's still in the 90th percentile in EV and HH%.
  17. Well if nothing else, this makes Bassitt throw more pitches.
  18. They are gaming his rookie status, like it or not. He will be on the team this year.
  19. He might not be Kjerstad bad out there. We'll see I guess.
