  1. That is good news, as we have plenty of offensive potential to trade for pitching!
  2. This is a no brainer....send him down and ensure the extra year.
  3. All of this is correct....except for apologizing for Kemp. While we are winning it is not as big a deal, but if he still looks the same in a week it has to be done. I mean he has been the definition of "overmatched" thus far.
  4. The other prospects who have been in the minors longer are watching. They know they were bypassed for the phenom. I like to think Norby or Mayo might be ready for a chance. This is the best scenario for the team. Holliday will come up later in the season and be fine. We get the extra year and Elias can always point to this when people suggest he is keeping a prospect down too long. Could not have turned out better!
  5. Absolutely no reason to keep him up much longer and loose the extra year. This kid has presumably always been the best player on his team and tore through the minors. This humbling experience will be the best thing for him and the team long-term.
  6. I remember also, and Cal was certainly more "seasoned" than JH is right now.
  7. Well said...they seem to have great chemistry. Hopefully, this will provoke some to sign long-term with us!
  8. Totally agree....if you spend big then go get Hader for closer.
  9. I think it is more "mental fatigue" than physical. It is a pennant race. I think they are just a young team finding their way and getting great experience. However, the pitching is worrisome--but we all knew that would be the issue at the end of the season. No surprises here.
  10. I would not assume anything "normal" with Angelos.
  11. I agree with this. Basically it is costing everyone 11% more to live life as they have been this year. If your household income is 100K this means it is costing you 11K more to live as you have been. That is quite substantial.
