We have to root for the Royals to beat the Tigers yet if they win it puts more pressure on us to win to get home field in wild card round.

They just can’t string the hits together it seems a guy will come up in big situations and not deliver then next at bat gets a hit with no one on. Santander had a double down the line his first at bat. His second at bat with 2nd and 3rd he pops out. The next at bat he flys out to right. The 4th at bat he hits a rocket right at the right fielder with Mullins on 1st then Adley homers. So in the 4 at bats he would have scored the runner 3 out of the 4 times but unfortunately the time he didn’t was one that mattered.

Yep but they keep doing that I still like our chances. You pitch like that in playoffs you give yourself a great chance to win. The offense is still missing 3 starters from the lineup so hopefully they come back and help.

Urias should be ready before Westburg and maybe by the next series so he will be next move. I am thinking Mayo might be the move as he isn’t playing at all.

I thought he might be up yesterday after he didn’t play Friday but since McCann started and Adley DH no major need. He should be at DH today though if he is in town early enough since it is an 11 o’clock start time in Detroit.

He’s been great at home and awful on the road so that isn’t good but he has been great vs lefties and horrible vs righties and the Tigers are left handed heavy so that is good. He has been god awful in the day but pretty good at night but the Tigers hit better at night. So with all that said who the heck knows he is a rookie in his 14th start.

They haven’t given up unless I see Adley starting telling the hitters what pitch is coming because he wants the season to just be over.

They are not done because you still have Burnes and Eflin 1-2 in the playoffs so just have to get them a few runs and they will give you chance to win most nights.

We were leading league in fewest double plays hit into by 6 coming into the game I guess they wanted catch up to everyone else in one game.

I would rather have saved him for this part in the lineup with their good lefties though. They most likely were gonna pinch hit which they wouldn’t do here.
