<p><p><p>The IBM Model M is a tank--featuring a reinforced steel backplate, buckling spring keys, and weighing about 6 lbs. Each key press makes a clacking sound, like this: <www.clickykeyboard.com/model_m_sound.mp3>. </p></p></p>

    <p><p><p>Here's the Wikipedia article about it: <<a href="<a href="<a href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Model_M_keyboard" rel="external nofollow">http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Model_M_keyboard</a>" rel="external nofollow"><a href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Model_M_keyboard" rel="external nofollow">http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Model_M_keyboard</a></a>" rel="external nofollow"><a href="<a href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Model_M_keyboard" rel="external nofollow">http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Model_M_keyboard</a>" rel="external nofollow"><a href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Model_M_keyboard" rel="external nofollow">http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Model_M_keyboard</a></a>></a></p></p></p>

<p><p><p>Hope this helps. One thing to keep in mind: if you acquire and use a Model M, your office mates may not be very happy. lol.</p></p></p>

    <p><p><p>Cheers, </p></p></p>

  14. Absolutely not. Palmer has earned the right to talk about himself--he's the greatest pitcher to ever don an Orioles uniform. #22 never aimlessly talks about himself, either. He always connects it to something that's happening on-field or that's relevant about a play that's unfolding. Next time, rather than disparaging him, closely listen to what he says; you'll find he adds a great deal to the broadcast.
  15. Let's examine the logic behind your post, echo. You log onto a forum dedicated to the Orioles and, based on some comments by its greatest pitcher, you deduce he has "no class" and make other disparaging remarks about him. More, you've no idea how those in the booth perceived his comments, him, or anything else--they may love #22 for all we know. I love the fact that #22 blows no smoke up anyone's rear. He tells it just like it is, and that's refreshing and much-needed, particular as a foil to Hunter's always sunny in Birdland outlook and a juxtaposition to the buffoonery of Thorne, who can't correctly pronounce anything. Mr. Palmer has earned the right to say what he thinks/feels and to not have to justify any of it. Yeah, this will end well.
