<p><p><p>No worries at all - for one thing, I shouldn't have been so dismissive, for another...you certainly made relevant points, particularly in re: the double standard I was maintaining for Flaherty and Davis. I certainly wouldn't sneeze at Flaherty's becoming an everyday, productive player, so here's hoping I'm wrong!</p></p></p>

<p><p><p>Anyway...that was my attempt. You're clearly neck-deep in a glass houses situation (pun semi-intended). Either you see it, or you don't. If you simply can't be consoled, and my "attitude" interferes with your overall enjoyment of the board, there is a "block" feature that you can (easily) use to ignore everything I post.</p></p></p>

<p><p><p>1) It's the internet. Regardless of what I do/don't actually believe...do YOU think I can fairly claim to know anything about you based on internet postings? Does your internet grammar (and the "infraction" you received for said grammar) reflect how you speak in person? Do you assume strangers in public give a damn, one way or the other, regarding how you feel about their social behaviors (or any other issues related to personal comportment)? </p></p></p>

<p><p><p>2) You based your assessment on one topic/thread after having been a member of this site for a day. Again, disregarding whether I believe that I can actually, accurately assess your character through internet postings...how much credibility do you think you're owed given that you've demonstrated a willingness to both make snap judgments AND speak up about said judgments almost immediately upon their being formed?</p></p></p>

<p><p><p>I'll take a step back and answer seriously (just this once): I've respond to you as I have because you apparently (truly, seriously) don't understand how ironic your messages are. That lack of understanding makes responding with anything resembling genuine, non-sarcastic (or non-disdainful) language completely unnecessary. As you kind of implied...I don't know you, don't have to work with you...Hell, I don't even have to worry about waving cordially in your direction when we pass one another on the street. I don't have to (nor do I want to) invest <em>any</em> energy in the cause of "making your day better (or even bearable)." If you're going to be so dense as to not see the hypocrisy inherent in your own statements/behavior, then...whatever, dude. That cookie offer's still on the table.</p></p></p>
