  1. Right... But it's still not MUST WIN. Cleveland has to win, they MUST WIN, or they go home. The odds of a wildcard team winning the World Series is a whole lot better than the odds of a team that doesn't make the playoffs.
  2. My guess is that it is about respecting the Vet. They moved O'Hearn to first when Mountcastle was scratched and they don't want to make the vet feel disrespected by taking his start at second away.
  3. Cleveland have a roughly 5% of making the playoffs. They MUST WIN. The O's have very close to 100% chance to make the playoffs and are ahead in their division race. They are not in a must win situation. You could make a case that they would be better off resting guys and not winning the division over burning up their bullpen and roster to win the division.
  4. Don't know. I do know my Necromancer Alt just hit level 6 finally. Huge power bump.
  5. The only issue I have is that I think they could have spent a bit more time and money and made it look nicer. It looks like a cheap add-on.
  6. No. Cleveland is in a must win situation. The O's are almost certainly going to the playoffs. That is what you save something for.
  7. I'll be very upset if it comes out that he's a pedophile and that his teammates knew about it and didn't say anything. I also wouldn't be willing to make an accusation like that without some sort of evidence.
  8. Jasson is the player they spent basically one whole year of International money(5.1M of 5.4M) on.
  9. WOW! Who would have thought that one of the worst teams of all time would end up on the wrong side of something like that? I'm shocked.
  10. That doesn't sound like Dionysus. Sound more like something Zeus would do. After-all Bautista is good theater.
  11. I think he's going to adapt his launch angle for the majors and his offense will be above average. I don't see him as a Luis Arraez type.
  12. I think Holliday's minor league batting average isn't a useful tool to gauge future success. He hits a ton of ground balls that aren't going to be hits in the majors.
  13. https://blogs.fangraphs.com/whose-deadline-acquisitions-have-been-the-best/ O's added .2 WAR and -.8 WPA (or as I want to call it .8 WPS)
  14. I feel that most major league ballplayers don't lack for confidence.
