What in the hell is going on with this team!!! That was almost the third error this inning.
This should be a 5-2 game with us batting now.

Man, our defense has really been horrible recently. The bats and pitching have covered for it which is what good teams do. It's hard to get all aspects of the game firing on all cylinders, and if you do, that's when you see the long win streaks.

Man I hope we win this one. A loss here could really be draining after tying it in the 8th, the Santander throw home, and the Mullins score.

I think McCann might have saved us a run with his defense this inning. Between the no throw which didn't allow a runner to advance, and that tag and catch.....not sure Rutschman makes those plays.

Why Perez here? Just curious. Not sure he would be the guy I would bring in.

Cano isn't the same pitcher that we saw the first half of last year. Might have been a mirage, but he's still a good pitcher. Awesome break there with the runner going out of the baseline.

We need the good Kimbrel tonight. It's easy to tell which version we are going to get. If he starts tailing fastballs out of the zone early, then it's time to get the BP up.

In 2025 The Dodgers have Yamamoto, Ohtani, Glasnow, Paxton, and who knows who else they will get. Kershaw still wants to pitch for the Dodgers too when he comes back from rehabbing.
I hope Rubenstein spends some money to get some pitching or a bat in the future. Honest question.....has it been since the 90's when we had a big payroll relative to the league? I do worry that we have a great team and an owner that is still tightfisted. The T Rowe advertising is rubbing me the wrong way, lol.

My biggest issue with Povich has always been a lack of control. Same issue I had with DL Hall, who has better pure stuff. Where do you see him ending up? If you think he's a TOR guy I think you're on a small island there.

Odd question, but what is going on with the Braves offense? I am glad to be catching them when they aren't hitting well, but the O's haven't had a stretch like this all year. Olson, Albies, Acuna, and Duvall have all struggled. Now Acuna is out for the year.
Povich certainly has the results so far tonight though. Curve is looking good and he is mixing his pitches well.

The O's have had some bad luck with double plays tonight! That's two that were crushed but just didn't work out in our favor.

Fried has been a bonafide ace for four years. Povich has a best-case scenario as a #4 or so to me.

I don't want to be negative but I just don't see it with Povich. He doesn't look like he has plus stuff or control. I also seem to remember him pitching harder. Let's hope the results continue though.
