Well maybe we do need to have better pitching options to win in 2023 .. sheesh..that is not exactly the calvary arriving lol -

Getting shut out at home by this team at this point is just really frustrating

Sept and Oct are different.. see what the teams that make the playoffs will do in Sept and Oct against bad teams ..

Why replace Watkins at this point? Although if Vespi had to come in tomorrow that would not be a good sign.

Doubleheader tomorrow and of course it could be 4.5 out or 0.5 out by end of Monday .. Playoff teams sweep bad teams this time of season.. or they just will miss out. Not 2/3. This is not April.

So Hyde should just save everybody at this point for the doubleheader because now we need to sweep tomorrow Watkins needs to throw 110 pitches now

We are not going to get any help and much of the rest of the season will hinge on tomorrow. At least they had to use their high leverage guys in 7 8 and 9

Watkins .. like the classic, mediocre, back of the rotation pitcher he is, now settles after the damage.

It becomes increasingly clear that this team will need less pitching upgrade with GrayRod, Wells, Means etc next year.. but the offense definitely needs more depth and quality.

Puts pressure on Watkins and the pen too because give them one more and we are almost assured to be toast
