The bottom of this lineup.. particularly Odor and Chirinos when he plays is really poor.

This lineup .. particularly 6-9 needs substantial improvement if this team is going to go further

This… exactly. I like Brandon Hyde. I think he is a very good manager and I would like him to be the long term Oriole skipper. A la John Harbaugh.

Frank was an “old 30” … different risks but Mike is older 31 and not in adequate health to perform at his previous level and the contract is set up to kill. Elias by history if he trades for a veteran high paid star it has usually been a TOR .. Verlander for example. TOR veteran pitcher is what they might go get if available but otherwise improve the cast .. the Odors Chirinos Head of the current team and bring on Gunnar, Grayson, Means return , Etc

No, their bench is weak.. like tonight.. when they play good teams with their bench playing, they are just not good enough. Next year’s B lineup needs much improvement

Krehbiel has not been good recently.. He has no business being the 8th inning guy.

Win expectations are down significantly after our pitcher serves it up and we face a Cy Young candidate.. it is getting harder to squint and see how we don’t fall off the pace. This next 9 games may well tell us that one way or the other.. and this is a bad start.

The coming week will really be a huge test .. CWS for 3 then on the road for 3 against Hou and 3 in Cleveland .. if we go 5-4 I will be very happy lol

Stowers apparently has a tendency to take first pitches so they have started him every time with pitches right down Broadway. He then gets a bit hurried and tense and has swung at multiple pitches out of the zone.

He was a likely candidate to regress.
