Crossroads for us in next two games.. now we are 3 back, Minnesota will pass us if we lose, teams ahead of us have all won last games we could be five out of a playoff spot and behind Minnesota by Friday

Either way, we are right at the crossroads of essentially staying in or falling out. Twins have now caught us and are on 5 game streak. All the teams ahead of us are on winning streaks. If we get swept in Cleveland we are going to probabky be effectively done.

Exactly this… Ryan is very streaky and is not as good as Trey is about going to right. But in the absence of an offseason trade for an upgrade or a draft pick, he will likely continue there and hopefully will bust out against the Jays in the 9 games to decide the wildcard situation

The wall has helped our pitchers too.. directly and indirectly. Confidence is a fragile thing. Defense absolutely. Rutschman, Mateo, Mullins up the middle may be best central defense in MLB

Oh and Jorge’s WHIP 1.567 with Twins and 0.972 with us.. And K/9 was 10.1 with us, 7.0 with them.: he was traded at his peak and we likely would have had more blown saves if he was closing instead of Bautista. but we can’t know.. in Elias we trust lol

And neither is having 2 guys in the lineup under .200 and a guy put today as the fourth place hitter who looks completely lost
