I don’t have a good feeling about Bautista going out in the 9th.

I’m on central time and I absolutely loathe west coast baseball. I don’t know how you all on the east coast watch this.

Definitely seems like the approach has changed this inning.

I just knew how fast Gibson rushed that throw it was headed for the outfield. Good DP!

Let’s not forget that it was originally a 5-0 lead. Of course it’s a little more of a gut punch to give up 4 in the 9th. It was obvious two batters in that Bautista didn’t have it tonight.

I want to believe there’s more to the story than we know. The problem I have is all these fellow broadcasters coming to his defense and calling out the Orioles. I feel like if you’re going to call out another franchise’s management, you really should have your ducks in a row and know what you’re talking about. So I am somewhat inclined to believe there’s really nothing more to the story, or a lot of broadcasters are going to have a lot of apologizing to do.

I have a hard time putting a lot on Rutschman there. It’s one thing to block a 58’ breaking ball. That was a 57’ 97mph fastball.

I’m all for being aggressive but that was just awful.

In my mind it’s high leverage anytime the bases are loaded with less than 2 outs in a 1 run or tie game.

For the life of me, I cannot figure out Voth in a high leverage situation. Or any situation really outside of a blowout loss.

I was at this game. Travelled all the way from Alabama to be there to see my namesake. It's the first time I had actually seen him in person. If I remember correctly, his statue dedication was actually supposed to be earlier in the season but he had some health issue that it had to get pushed back. That actually worked in my favor because we wouldn't have been able to make the earlier game. I was so glad we made it up there. I just can't believe that's been 10 years ago already.

Two Sundays in a row will be a tall order.

Does the team seem more lifeless since Aguilar has been on the team? Maybe it's just a coincidence and its the byproduct of a long season, but in my opinion they don't seem like they're having fun like they were in the past few months. I felt like Phillips at least brought a little energy with him.
