Or they don't see anything worth spending the money On, and they saw an arm they like. They still have a ton to spend if they see something they like. I don't see many international guys making themselves available with so many teams at their max pool wise, and only 5 months until it resets.

I'll believe that when it happens. Both Tampa and Miami should lose teams before Baltimore would. Add Oakland and probably Pittsburgh to that list. That's 4 teams that should be considered for relocation before the Orioles. They aren't moving 4 teams in the next 30 years, much less by 2024.

Oakland (a team in the playoff hunt) has played 8 more hone games and have only drawn 40k more fans than the Orioles. The Indians have led the division all year and are 21st in attendance. Miami will barely each 1m fans. Those are all worse than the Orioles and their worst record in baseball attendance imo.

If not for the knee surgery, Trumbo was a trade candidate I believe this winter. He was on pace for around 25 HR. A team looking to not invest a long-term contract for some pop at DH. A team like Oakland maybe.

I know he changed his delivery to where he lifted his arms over hos head. I guess it's really not fair of me to judge Gausman. He has always been a second half pitcher anyhow.

Gausman is 3-1 with an ERA of 2. They have him pitching solely from the stretch I read. How come Orioles pitching coaches can't see these things?

Range has never been Schoops strong suit. He definitely has the arm, but I don't see Schoop as even an average SS. But I see what your saying. To me, Villar represents the start of getting away from that all or nothing approach at the plate and going more towards a more athletic take that extra base kind of offense.

I'm really wondering why the Brewers traded Villar. He looks like a much more exciting and polished hitter than Schoop. He brings way more to the table. Villar looks exactly like they type of player a playoff team wants. I didn't see much of Villar before he became an Oriole. Maybe being traded motivated him?

I'm hoping he can stick at 3B. OF is pretty full, especially if they get Mesa. He looks like he's going to be a premium bat, so they'll find room.

Yes, if he shows he's a capable player. It's not like they have an up and coming 2B waiting in the wings.
