I don't think he's part of the Orioles future either way.
Could be make or break for it he has a quality ML career.
He's still under team control for a few more years. Why do you say he's not part of the O's future? Please elaborate.

I see this as a make or break year for Stewart. Give him plenty of at-bats. See what we have with him. Part of the future or not.

When I was 13 years old I thought this was the coolest song ever.

It was a huge hit in the South in 1972. From the fertile mind of Loudon Wainright III.

Biggest omissions appear to be DJ and Zimmerman. Also Leblanc, Bannon, Sceroler, and of course Adley. I'm not a fan of Jorge but hope he proves me wrong if he makes the club.
Severino, Sisco
1B: Mancini, Davis
2B: Yolmer
SS: Galvis
3B: Ruiz
OF: Mountcastle, Hays, Mullins, Santander
Util: Valaika
SP: Mean, King, Harvey, Kremer, Akin
RP: Valdez, Harvey, Scott, Fry, Tate, Lakins, Sulser, Jorge
The one name on the list that sticks out like a sore thumb--Chris Davis.

Thanks for the game thread Wildcard. Good work.

A true "old school" baseball guy. RIP.

I'm guessing audio streaming uses less data than video streaming? About how much less? I'm poor and have a limited data plan (15 gigs).

He may be further along at being "ramped up". Anyways, it doesn't really mean anything.

Orioles Manager Brandon Hyde has tabbed journeyman Thomas Eshelman to take the bump in Sunday afternoon's Spring Opener at Ed Smith Stadium.

My take is Jones wins 2B out of ST, Sanchez takes over 3B, and Ruiz is DFA. Valaika makes it as the super utility.
That's a bold prediction.

No, actually it proved those of us that knew there was more to the story than he just skipped baseball activity to focus on getting his degree.
It also makes some of the people look foolish who were chastising those who felt a kid should focus on his career once he received such a large bonus because I can guarantee he would have been playing ball had he not been out for medical reasons.
Saying all that, the most important part here is he seems to be on the mend and his health is the most important thing.Amen brother.

Am I right in remembering that Harvey has that "compartment syndrome"? That injury has typically been a career ender. Tyson Ross is another notable example.
Thoracic Outlet Syndrome.

They already agreed to the NL DH, I think.
Nope. No NL DH for this upcoming season.

Not sure what to make of this short-term agreement. Maybe both parties are just waiting to see what the "new normal" will look like.
What are you listening to right now?
