Amen. Caught the inning on the radio where Manny drove in 2 with an opposite field hit...Ben called the pitch sequence and the hit before it occurred. Joe Angel was heaping praise on him. Wish he could do the games with Gary when Palmer can't or visa versa.

A lot of Morgans, Walking Halves, Franklin Halves, etc. a hell of a lot of old silver got melted down. They were buying silver dollars for $20ea. and silver halves for $10. That was a lot of $ in 1979. A lot of unknowledgeable people traded in scarce dates to dealers for just scrap money.</p></p></p>

If Mookie Betts were an Oriole, he wouldn't had the opportunity to face crappy pitching for 2 games in a row. Bett's career numbers suggest that he is a solid up and coming young star...I'm not ready to gush "incredible talent" yet.

In the privacy of my home, I have called Manny "Moochy" since he was a rook. Reimold is "Yinzer" to me because of the hilarious use of that term out in Western PA - from where Nolan came. In a semi-related note: the first time that I saw the board member named "Me So Hardy", I was no good for two full innings.

I still maintain that the O's can and will run the Yankees down....but we must bust them in the face next time we go head to head. The WC is for the Jays (D Price and the worst than everybody else's staff in the division)
