I'm no expert, but coming out of the last turn it looked like one of the horses kept drifting sideways and maybe interfering with another horse or horses. Or maybe it's just a "rubbing is racing" thing.

Nice reference. I was in school at GT when Michigan came to town for a series in the mid 80's, and me and my friends went to the game that Abbott started after hearing that he played with one arm. I was very impressed with him and rooted for him to go to MLB after college.

Imo it is a very underrated science fiction/thriller movie that is great fun to watch. The acting is strong all around, and I especially liked the character played by Andre Braugher. Just don't get caught up trying to make absolute sense of the 'time travel' scenarios and the movie as I said is fun to watch. It is one of my sister's favorite movies, but she's kinda wierd, though.

Not to nitpick, but the Pirates were up 3-2 in 71. They did come back from being down 2-0, though. The Pirates are the only team from WS opponents that I despise passionately, along with the Yanks and Red Sox in general. I used to hate the Mets, but for some strange, unexplainable reason I lost much of that hate after seeing the movie 'Frequency' with Dennis Quaid. Yeah, I know it's just a stupid movie, but for some wierd reason I can't hate them as much anymore.
