Question about contracts. The Yankees owe Hicks money on his 7/70 contract, does the money the O's are paying him this year decrease what the Yankees owe him? I'm not really sure how that works.

I was a little down on Gunnar earlier in the season, but after remembering his age it's going to take a much, much longer time for me to write him off in any way.

Yeah, didn't realize just how tall both of them were. I think in the past these kind of athletes gravitated or were pushed towards football and basketball. That might still continue to be true in the future, but boy when one of them decides to concentrate on baseball the results can be pretty astounding. This board would be going crazy if De La Cruz was on the O's, me included.

I was hoping (wishfully, as is often the case), Mateo was going to turn into one of them. Those videos of De La Cruz are ridiculous, wish we had him, like every other team does.
